Same. I actually go to a college where asians are in the majority but they are thrown off by my bad boy swagger =( *sigh*

Same here. They're not thrown off me though. But still it requires an effort. And uh I don't know about bad boy swagger either :lol

:lol Playing, of course.

The black chick in this show isn't too bad either. Lovely women all over wtf.

Finished the first ep.

Overall, I thought it was okay but having loved the original series, it really biased the way I experienced it and I ended up not especially impressed. I'll give a few more episodes before I issue a cancellation order.

Nikita killed Alex's parents. Such an obvious twist.
Too obvious imo. I'm gonna go with Nikita was ordered to kill them, changed her mind when she saw Alex, and Amanda ended up finishing the job.

Yeah the show is too pendatic. "OMG Percy has insurance stashed away" "OMG Percy has insurance stashed away" (which you'd think Nikita would be planning to steal already). I was checking this out for Maggie Q but the other girls are cute too. And who's that Ryan Phillipe look-alike?

I haven't seen any of the previous Nikita material. Which should I start with?

okay. shows pretty fantastic and I'm shocked its only on 2 pages on gaf. More people need to watch this. Both the female leads are hot as and maggieQ in purple tights is nice.

I like it. Its shot beautifully and the sets look high quality.

Alias on crack.

Hot.

Still never watching this show, but she's hot.

Funny how the chair's legs are machine guns.

So I bought the TV pass on Amazon On Demand. Its a little buggy. I clicked to watch the 1st episode and 2nd episode started playing. It wasn't even listed on the website yet.

Shit, I'd never realized that about the chair legs :lol

Just caught the second episode. I'm really liking this show so far. Anyone know how it's ratings are going?

Also, doesn't that Michael dude look ridiculously like Timothy Olyphant? This shit is disconcerting, haha. He's just missing the smooth Justified accent.

Edit: Also, is the blonde merc dead?

Episode 2 was really good. The A story needed some leaps of faith in terms of what happens, but everything else was ace.

Except for Jaden. She sucks.

I'm still watching.
Yet another showdown between Nikita and her 'secret' admirer.
The writers need to slow down it down and lets see a more long range plan than the hit and runs of the episodes so far.

This show is doing absolutely nothing inventive yet I'm helplessly entertained.

It helps that it's pretty well directed and lacks the constant shitty music that is seemingly a rule for every CW show.

Yeah I caught up and it's fairly enjoyable. Throwaway entertainment really, I don't mind it.

Still don't like it when they focus on the kids though. Still I'd rather watch this than Fringe. I tried giving that another shot and I gave up 10 minutes in. I can only stand Noble on it.

only.

seriously?

This should be a monster hit. 2 hot leads. Fantastically shot, the villian HQ isn't super stupid cheese (ala dollhouse level of bad design)and maggie Q shouldering massive guns = any males wet dreams! Thought every episode of this I watched was engaging in a better than Alias sort of way.

I've found this to be pretty good so far. That's coming from someone who loves the original La Femme Nikita series and was peeved at the idea of a remake. At the very least, it is MUCH better than those other recent spy show offerings.

It's not breaking any new ground, but i like how they've skipped over Nikita's imprisonment in Division and weaving in tidbits of backstory. The promise of Nikita continually fucking over Division's missions each week is a fun hook.

I really like Maggie Q in the role too, even though i have trouble believing a lot of the fights scenes she's involved in.

fun episode, althrough the source guy was an idiot just running away from people he more or less knew won't hurt him into the arms of armed people -.-

Turned on the first ep solely because of Maggie Q. I had no expectations of the show beyond the fact she would look gorgeous and might fire a gun or two. I was surprised by how much fun it was. Will definitely stick around for awhile.

Is it shot in Toronto? I'm guessing it is, since every show shot there always uses the same CP 24 reporter as the...uh...reporter.

Yes it is.

Why's this have to be on the same time as Fringe? Why couldn't they put on some crappy drama I would care nothing about. Oh well, I'll have to keep DVR'in it.

Damn - it looks like Maggie really dislocated her shoulder in that scene! I've been there .. MANY times. :(

X-Frame, is your avatar from Hawaii Five-O? I gotta watch that show. :lol

so anyone watched ep 4?

the twist was kinda "lolwut?" but otherwise preaty good, loved how she knew that everyone will be looked at models and thus dressed up as a reporter to get in :D

Michaels character is also getting more interesting, I kinda get the feeling that he will start questioning the motives of the devision a bit more, but on the other hand there seems to be a good reason for his loyalty so far

I only watched the first two episodes but this has nothing on Alias. The first few seasons of Alias were godly. SD-6 >>>>>> Division

I'm enjoying it more than I though I would, and it doesn't feel as cliche as I thought it would either. Surprised.

Every scene with that teenage girl is cliched as hell. I hope they drop her side-story altogether, and preferably character.

I didn't mind it before for a little bit but now it's just getting annoying. To the point where I'm only enjoying 'half' of the Nikita show.

"...doesn't feel AS cliche..." I should point out that my expectations for this were really low...like rock bottom. For me to still be watching at this point is a win for this show.

Fingers crosses as well. It was a decent episode today too; the plot actually progressed.
