This was probly previous announced but new to me; Your avatars face is now a scanned image from the Kinect. Avatars are less cartoony and look fairly close to how you look.

Thats cool.

For all we know, it's only for Kinect Sports, though. There's no sign of avatars on the dashboard any more.
