Like I said earlier in the topic, us men are terrible at identifying it because generally we seem to think that women who look like they aren't wearing any are wearing some, and when women don't wear any we think they look ill, lol. Most of the pictures people have posted in here outside of the site with some porn star or celebrity that supposedly no make up, do.

Some of the non make up photos, do look though as if some of those porn stars at least experimented with crack/meth. Or had really botched up face jobs. I'm talking about these very "pointy" faces that have a certain lifeless skeleton look.

Going through this thread I've noticed something. The women who look nearly the same with or without make-up seem to have the same hair styles, while women who come off vastly different have vastly different hairstyles. Would these women look as good (in your opinion as mine is pretty much moot for about every picture) if they had the make up, but didn't do their hair?
Maybe it's just fat women but I've never seen anyone woman change that drastically without any make up on, to the point where they look sad or sick.

Is it really that difficult to tell for some guys? Their lips are the same color as their skin and don't seem as "full". There eyes have darken circles around them, their cheeks are either single colored or freckled or looks like a cherry pop tart etc etc... it isn't hard to tell. Of course none of this matters for black women, they look the same with or without make-up.
As for your other comment, I don't think I'm special for it, I just feel when they have no make up on, they look more human, and that's all I want.

Of course its not hard to tell when somebody is wearing heavy makeup, which is what you're describing here(except for the lips thing, they shouldn't be skin-color without lipstick, that would be weird). But it sounds like you, too, fall exactly into the sort of thinking that comic displays. Basically, you equate 'light makeup', which isn't even all that light in a lot of cases, as 'no makeup'. And your comments about makeup not making any difference with black women reinforces this idea. So yea, it does seem to be quite difficult for some guys to tell.
Even if I was confident you knew what 'no makeup' meant and still had the same opinion, thats fine if you honestly feel that way. But some people seem to go around bragging about how they think women 'with no makeup' look better, as if they get some feminism points for it or something, when a lot, or most, of them dont even seem to know what 'no makeup' means.

I guess it's hard to explain what they look like with no make up. But I've stayed with women long enough to see them completely without make-up (as in stayed at their house, seen them wash it completely off) and they never look sickly, except for my best friend whose eyes looks sunk in like she hasn't slept in months. But again, maybe it's my bias, as I see them more as human, and that picture does depict more of a sick look (why is she frowning and squinting?)

It's a combination of the detrimental effects of make-up usage (think about it, you're putting all sorts of random minerals and shit on your skin for several hours at end, multiple days in a row, for years) and people having grown used to the way women look with makeup.
