I haven't kept up with football in a while, but is Paul Pogba considered to be the next Cristiano Ronaldo? Is he that good?

He's a midfielder and not winger/attacker like Ronaldo. He's definitely not worth that right now, but he's got potential.

Lol

Premier League clubs wasting too much money on overrated players.
Wouldn't evem pay half of that for Pogba

Premier League clubs are known to pay huge money for players that would be sold for 1/4 of the sum 10 years ago. He's decent but comparing him to ronaldo or messi is a joke
I would even say Kroos is better than him

Incredible, I remember Alan Shearer going for £15 million and it was all everyone at school talked about.

Can't believe how fast this has happened.

does that really matter anymore? :^)
When records are being broken, you need the accurate figures, dawg.
In Euros it's €144 million...

Not yet by the club, pretty much all that remains.

The fee is supposedly €120m. The italian journalists that have been leading this transfer have stated that's what Juventus held out for. The current story is Juventus want Raiola to drop his cut of the transfer.

Fuck mino Raiola.
With that said,i dont blame juve or pogba, that's an insane Amount of money for him and the club.

And how much would Bale go for 10 years ago? Welcome to football inflation.

Hahahaha

What a pressure to be champion now. Ridiculous money for a currenlty overrated player. He failed on the EC. I wonder how Fergie feels now hehehe

Buying back a player you let go for free a few years back :'D
At least the real Manchester club has morals.

Man U continuing the practice of spending a ludicrous amount on their team and still failing to win.

Pogba is amazing but he won't hit his prime until a few years from now.

Man Utd is paying Raiola's £24 million, and there's the leftover incentives and bonuses on top.
The current hold up with the deal is what happens with Raiola's fee, Juventus supposedly want him to give up his cut or have United pay it.

Poach from French club under dodgy circumstances.

Sell for 800,000.

Have Ferguson say "It's better if players like that go away".

Buy back for 120 million...

Raiola is going to have him put in a transfer request for his "childhood dream club" in a couple of years anyway.

Hate. Let me tell you how much I've come to hate Man Utd since I began to live. There are 387.44 million miles of veins in wafer thin layers that fill my body. If the word 'hate' was engraved on each nanoangstrom of those hundreds of miles it would not equal one one-billionth of the hate I feel for Man Utd at this micro-instant. For them. Hate. Hate.

Nahhh, there isnt a single player in the world right now worth that much money. Especially not Pogba, he simply doesn't score enough goals to warrant that sort of cash.

He is very good but he's nowhere near CR

Well for starters they dont play the same position, Paul pogba is hands down the best midfielder on the planet and he has the potential to become the greatest ever midfielder. He isn't worth 100 million dollars but he can be worth that or even more giving a few more years. He is young and extremely talented, his position doesn't lend itself to the game that comes with Messi and Rinaldo's positions, he is a playmaker and will help Man U tremendously.

What would you rather have, 1 Pogba or 2 Mangalas?

It's weird to be a (casual) Arsenal fan these days. Every big club keeps buying players for ridiculous amounts of money except Arsenal (and Liverpool). Which, btw, I like.
