Ah, Bully.
How many times do I have to buy this game and only play a little bit of it before something happens and I can't play it again?
Answer: All the times.
Just bought it on US PSN, and I'll download it later. When I played it on PS2, I didn't get terribly far (maybe 10 hours or so into it), but I loved it. I can't actually remember why I stopped playing it.
Then I bought it on PS3 when my BC PS3's disc drive died, and I played a little bit of it, but never caught up to where I was at on the PS2 version. Eventually, I got sidetracked by other things/games maybe.
This time, though. This time I'm going to beat this fucking game! I loved everything about it. I've never been to boarding school, but it did remind me of the private school I went to for a short spell. It had this authenticity to it, and Jimmy is such an asshat protagonist. I love it.
I also own Manhunt on PS2, but couldn't stomach some of the extreme violence at the time. It felt too gritty and real back then, so I never got far in it (but it was during that era where I bought every game with the Rockstar logo on it, even Enemy of the State...sigh). The concept of Manhunt is intriguing and terrifying. I may give it another go. I still need to buy Okage (another game I own on PS2). I hate that my BC PS3's disc drive crapped out on me. So many PS2 games left unfinished that I hope get PS4 releases.
Give me FFXII already Square-Enix!!
EDIT: I may have to do a "Let's Play" stream of Bully on my Youtube channel. I've been wanting to get into streaming my gameplay sessions, but couldn't think of a game I wanted to do one for besides No Man's Sky when it releases. A Blind Playthrough of Bully could be a lot of fun...
