I mean does anyone here honestly look at the pics above and think these kind of graphics are PS4 or even Xbone level?
When was 1080p confirmed?well it is 1080p/60fps so i think that makes it next-gennier than either one of those two, cementing this is as the best-looking game of all-time (this year).
Some people here don't know how to handle trolls... IGNORE them, put them on IGNORE LIST, and most importantly DON'T QUOTE THEM. As soon as I saw this guy, I put him on ignore. There are just some people not worth arguing with...
I don't understand what you mean. He almost stops because he hits the wall at 10:20; if you look closely, he actually went past the anti-gravity switch. Then, the only option left is to try to land on the wall directly, but the glider height was too low. He got lucky the game still allowed him to enter the anti-gravity zone.
I think it's pretty clear that the player hit it wrong, or hit a divider that splits the road from the wall path and screwed up his/her own momentum. There's no way they wouldn't account for coming off of that ramp and ending up on the wall.
It's not, and likely isn't the case. Chances are AniHawk was just trolling the troll.Regardless of whether it is not at the level of PS4/XB1, it looks really nice. That's what matters.

Yep it's probably to player error and the game letting him hatch onto the wall.
Yup, just choose screens from a build from a year ago and not the ones on the front page of this thread.
I certainly think this is very close to the level of graphics we've seen from the PS4 and Xbone.

lol I didn't even read the rest of the post and consder it being trolling considering it is AniHawk. It's not, and likely isn't the case. Chances are AniHawk was just trolling the troll.

This game is definitely above last gen but before we start pixel counting and all that console wars shit, can we just chill the fuck out and acknowledge beautiful art direction coupled with flawless frames per second? Shit's wonderful I tell you.

This game's going to have me doing the stupidest things to drink in the little details isn't it?
Nah breh, like 0 PS4s would melt trying to run this game.
How can I enjoy this if it wouldn't melt a PS4?

Have just noticed the transparency of the parachute. Is it my eyes playing tricks on me or does the transparency change when the lighting changes..? Pretty sure that's what's happening, nice touch if it is!
Well, perhaps we can find a common ground then, because I'm not saying WiiU was designed to be this very powerful system (and technically, neither were ps4 or xbone). But it was built with certain considerations in mind, which considertations have to do with contemporary rendering pipelines, and which considerations, for one reason or another, were not so strongly present in the design of the previous generation of consoles. Does that make WiiU 'much more poweful' than, say, ps3, or is the difference 'rather subtle'? Or perhaps it's all in the context?
So you're saying Sumo are not as good as EAD or Retro in making a same-genre, similar look-n-feel game using similar techniques? Perhaps. Or maybe even Retro and EAD couldn't have pulled MK8 in its present form on the 360? What if MK8's makers heavily relied on the more modern design of the WiiU?
I'm not participating in this conversation from the POV of defending/attacking a system, I'm just surprised at people's willingness to dismiss products of engineering excellence as 'meh, could've run on my casio, if only God was the developer'.

Gonna explore every course just to see the sights in time trials lol. Hopefully this is the game where nintendo thrown in a sound test too.
I wonder how the people living in that city feel about a giant psychedelic technicolor racetrack floating above their homes.OMG

The game would most def wreck the analog sticks rubber.

Do they ever fear it'll fall or are they completely cool with it?
They might worship it as their god.
