I hope this game has some more interesting characters though....disappointed the newest trailer showed all the babies (pretty sure I saw Baby Daisy) were back in full-force after being dropped in Mario Kart 7.

We need dudes like Boom Boom, Nabbit, and some WarioWare dudes in here. Maybe Pauline as the surprise retro character.

In the latest IGN Nintendo Voice Chat podcast, Peer let slip that the online numbers for Mario Kart 7 were comparable to the top Xbox Live titles. Hopefully, Nintendo realizes this and puts modern features into the game. Maybe different lobbies with both items and non-items. Battle Modes with free for all and teams. Voice chat. Etc.

It's cool that you can play Mario Kart Arcade Grand Prix Deluxe "free" (free constitutes "Play one time for FREE! With a $10 Power Card purchase or recharge 2/03/2014-3/09-2014") at Dave and Busters according to their TV commercials, which I presume is sort of building publicity towards the release of Mario Kart 8.

Yeah. That can lead to some interesting "share your rage" moments. Nintendo has great online multiplayer potential with games this year (Mario Kart and Smash). Hopefully they'll fulfill it.

Yeah, you can tell that's what happening because Luigi and Bowser are driving with their wheels in the normal position, while Mario and Peach's wheels have flipped horizontally and the "F-Zero" mechanism has kicked in.
