Challenge 1-8 is a pain in the ass.

A Toad escort through a load of smashers and some that buff their damage to such a degree that if they hit toad they will OHKO him if they trigger their bounce effect. And just the bounce alone can send him out of bounds and kill him anyways.

Got all the way to just before the end and then Luigis sentry managed to bounce the ice smasher close enough for him to travel through a second pipe and come down and perform his wombo combo on Toad.

Almost threw my Switch across the fucking office.

You unlock a facility to go back but you replay the Chapter instead of the individual encounters.

I stopped playing for now be a use I'm not sure if I should restart the world or keep it moving foward.

Never played a Rabbids game before this, but can't understand all the hate. I'm enjoying them quite a bit, I actually wish I could have a 4th party member so I could have two Rabbids along with Mario & Luigi.

The game itself is just beautiful, I love the art direction here. To be honest, I wouldn't mind another Super Mario 3D world that looked like this, I much prefer this over what I've seen so far with Odyssey. The music is excellent too. Gameplay wise, I haven't gotten very far but I'm enjoying what seems to be XCOM Lite which is just what I wanted out of this. Cant wait to checkout World 2.

Just coins for now. You gain each post-chapter reward tier for the perfects so if you missed one perfect all you're gaining is another 100 coins.

And bragging rights I guess. Dunno if you get anything for all perfects as I'm only one world in and now clearing up the challenges and secrets of world 1 before moving on.

finished world 1, all perfects first try. Felt good. Finished the first two challenges by the skin of my teeth - for challenge 1-2 my entire team was incapped but Toad managed to limp across the finish line.

I did the challenges by going back to the World 1 area by walking there, I didn't use the washing machine because I think that's for replaying story mode stages.

Felt so good at the end when I got my team (Luigi and Rabbid Luigi) all up at the final swtich together and used Mario's damage boost to deliver a powerful three piece finisher.

Correct. Just the 2 battles.
The chapter revisiting facility is the Time Washing Machine. It unlocks after finishing World 1.

THREE fights in sequence with no save in between, and if you die on any of them, you have to go back to the start. I just said "to hell with this" and used easy mode.

I never had to see Rabbid buttcheeks in a thong before, so they got that advantage.

I see now, it shows you where they are but you have to discover them by exploring before you access from the washing machine if you haven't beaten it already from exploring the area.

I bounced an enemy out of bounds, and when they came back they respawned on the trigger, completing one stage of the boss without me having to put my characters in danger. And then the boss got mad at them for taking away his bananas and killed the enemy for me. lol

So far the game is even better than I expected it to be.

Has anyone else noticed any slight audio glitching in this game? Occasionally the audio will briefly cut out for me. It's not a huge deal, but a bit distracting and I'm wondering if it's a common thing.

Just mentioning I finished all the World 1 challenges, so it is possible to do them all before moving on.

You get gold coins and skill points for doing them so it can be worth it getting better gear and skills before moving onto the next world.

So many stunning details. Like how if Mario is round the corner of some cover from Luigi and Luigi fires past him, Mario ducks under the gun barrel and puts his fingers in his ears with a worried expression on his face just before Luigi fires. sogood.gif

I also found out that sentries trigger the button on the first boss - just target him with one and it will sit there, not blowing up as it can't reach him but it will keep the button pressed. It also doesn't get knocked back by his push waves. EZMODE.

game is fine but 30fps really really hurts in the overworld portions.
I wonder why they made the roomba the pack leader, it's just not a good design decision, makes controlling the group weird, especially when you can't see him because the taller characters block him.

after 3h i can say that this is a solid game and i expected much worse. my biggest fear was that they would go overboard with the rabbids slapstick but so far it's tolerable. i can already say that this is the best ubisoft game in this decade.

I wasn't online when I first tried the game, so I only downloaded the day-1 patch later. The only thing I immediately noticed was they added language settings and the DLC option in the title screen.

My guess would be mid-boss x2. So 1-10? Mario logic would have had it at 1-8 though..

Luigi's steely stare and Mario´s hero sight are really op when you upgrade them to have two shots per turn, mix them with a bouncing weapon and every enemy trying to make a move dies instantly lol
