Those look pretty good. NECA seems like a good choice if you're not willing to splurge on Hot Toys figures but what something that is still a large display piece.

At a $100 price point the 1/4 Avengers Iron Man is pretty nice.

Yeah, I have read the complaints about the issues. If you manage to get a good one and just want to display it then it is a good deal.

I like what they're trying to do with these figures in terms of price and film accuracy.

However those MoS face sculpts look horrible. He looks constipated.

Pre ordered that NECA DeVito Penguin. That is one of my fav designs of that character. Might have to go back and get that Keaton 1/4 fig from them too.

My Armorize Iron Man should be arriving Monday. Stoked for that fig and that Stark head sculpt with articulated eyes. Oh my!

Also got ship confirmation from Toys R Us for the full set of the new Avengers Marvel Legends Infinite series figs. Picked up an Extra Hawkeye, Iron Fist and Thor for them extra parts. I need me an All Father and King Thor displayed, no sharing body parts here.

well they are pretty tiny figures, it doesn't surprise me... but for $25 i'm not sure I want to risk it. Why don't they release her to the mass market? or at the very least to gamestop? They sell a lot of mcfarlane figures at their stores.

carl is the smallest mcfarlane figure I have. haven't had any joint problems with him but again, i'm not surprised. i've had my share of joint issues with figures.

Funko Game of Thrones being some of the worst... sigh.

Its from a company called Sentinel out of Japan. Pretty awesome, might be SLIGHTLY tall for Legends, but anytime I get a tall Tony Stark I chalk it up to it being his armor and makes me feel better about him being with Legends.

Hasbro doesn't even seem to bother paying for actor likenesses most of the time. The unmasked Captain America heads look more like Duke than Chris Evans, the Iron Man 1 unmasked Starks looked almost like an Asian RDJ, and the only member of the Guardians to look like the actor was a shockingly good Chris Pratt buried under too heavy paint. I wouldn't be surprised if Hasbro just didn't bother with paying for Batista's likeness for any of their Drax's. I can't imagine Hot Toys could get away with fudging a person's likeness the same way Hasbro could, though.

Rather they tried to use his likeness or not... i'm not sure. But I have no problems with how it looks.

I don't get too hung up on likenesses for figures in this scale and lower. For me it's more important that it just looks "good" or that it doesn't look too much like some other actor or character. Give you an example: Bandai is releasing a RotJ Luke Skywalker soon. I keep hearing people say they dig the likeness. But to me... not only does it not look like Luke, but it actually reminds me of that kid from Chronicle and I find that kinda irritating.

I think Hasbro makes the WWE figures already? Or was it Mattel? Or someone else entirely? They may already have their foot in the door with WWE. Then there's also the fact that I think WWE has to make a % off their licensed merchandise too. Perhaps one side is trying to negotiate such terms but I'm just speculating.

Looked it up after questioning who it was myself last page, Mattel was doing it for a long time, and Jakks currently has the WWE licence.

I feel you! The one thing that got me into HTs was the Star Lord reveal - I was bowled over by it. Then I looked a little deeper and saw this:

I knew then that I had to get this guy and hunted high and low for him - it was hard to find him below £300 but I did in the end and he's fucking awesome. Before I got him though I saw Avengers Captain America going for a good price on Eay and couldn't help myself. These things are like crack. I can't get enough!

I currently have on order Star Lord, Gamora, Groot, Rocket, Starboost Iron Man and just minutes ago placed my order for Thanos.

Yeah, that Mr.Bean is awesome, just not something I'd buy a figure of. I've got that Joker, the Battle Damaged T2, and the Hot Toys 1/4th scale Endoskeleton. I'm not sure I'd buy another 1/4th scale figure, but I still can't imagine parting with 'em yet either...

For people in Canada, Target Canada stores that are still receiving stock are receiving the latest series of the Marvel Legends figures (Thor, Scarlet Witch, Captain Marvel, etc).

Considering liquidation of these stores will be starting relatively soonish, one can imagine they'll all be discounted as a result.
