Edit: Just realized that tatsunoko vs capcom uses 3D characters. Will be interesting to see what route this game takes..

If this turns out to be true they've simply proven themselves to be one of the best third party developers in the medium, if not the best. Pumping out new IP's along with reviving classic franchises all the while delivering sequels to their current franchise series. I don't think there's any other company delivering the goods the way Capcom is now.
