The only problem with this is they are using the Tatsunoko engine we're probably going to be pared back down to like 20 characters or less. Which means on the Marvel side we'd probably be back to just Spidey, Hulk, Wolverine, Iron Man, Storm, Cap, and Magneto :/ Then again maybe they could compensate by making sure there's a lot of new Capcom guys (DANTE)

I think it'd be interesting to see what sort of Marvel roster they'd come up with, especially if Marvel themselves got some input. Characters like Mrs Marvel and Luke Cage have become more popular since MvC2, and some of the characters with movies, like Daredevil and Ghost Rider, would also be possible additions. MvC2's roster is very much the Marvel of the 90s, and a set of 12-16 characters with Marvel's input right now would be significantly different. Spidey, Hulk, Wolverine, Iron Man, and Cap would be obvious picks, but I think we could see some nice variety from there.

But yeah, I just want playable Deadpool. That's all I need.

Back on topic, I see Dante has popped up numerous times and Nero's been mentioned, but why not Virgil? I think he would be an excellent addition. Also, Deadpool would make things amazing. I hope this game happens, even though I am not the biggest MvC2 fan. I just want them to maybe balance out the cast somewhat so people don't only select the same 3 characters every match.
