Super Saver free shipping is always given last priority when Amazon is loading up the trucks from the warehouse. Sucks, but it's the truth.
 
My Target had a sign up about the price reduction, but were sold out, saying they were going to try to get some more tonight or tomorrow. I called the Target 10 miles away and they had a bunch of copies so I bought one for me and one for my friend. Score.

I thought Target was $25? How is it $20? Also anyone find it sold out at their Target? I went in the morning and it was already gone at the location I went to. Guess I gotta hit another location at lunch.

I pre-ordered in June, with Prime, and release date delivery, and my order is still in "Shipping Soon" status - since last night. I'm quite annoyed with the delay, almost tempted to go check my local Best Buy and cancel the Amazon order.

Really? I ordered mine (2-disc BD) on 9/20 and it shipped on 9/23. Tracking says it was left on my doorstep an hour and a half ago.

They advertised it for $25, but it's $20 in store with a "lower than advertised" tag under it.

Nice surprise.

That sucks. I did release date with Prime last month and it shipped last night.

Your order might have already shippped and they just haven't updated the status.

Either Canada or it was a pre-order bonus.
 
Best Buy will price match the online Target price for the 3D/Blu Ray/Dvd/Digi pack @ $20 if you don't care for the 90 minute bonus. All you need to do is show them proof and they'll honor it. I went during lunch and had no issues.

Well, I emailed Amazon to see if I could change shipping method, and here's Amazon's response back:

I used a couple coupons on my Avengers 3D order, bringing the price down to $10. So, I'm just going to wait it out. I guess another week won't kill me....maybe.

It would have been REALLY nice. If the makers of this bluray/marking department looked out to the internet and gather all the Avengers spoofs for this movie to be included as it's own special on this blu-ray. This movie had so much more material during production/surrounding it that the extras really do feel like a waste. It wouldn't of taken that much extra effort guys. :(

I hope this is the case - I got an email last night saying my order was shipping late and I should shortly get an email with an updated delivery estimate, but I didn't get anything yet.
 
good thing i checked this thread. amazon dropped their price to 24.99 from 29.99 so i got my price adjustment. im missing out on the 90 min special from target so ill look for it on youtube in a few weeks i guess

still waiting for it to come, tracker said its on its way today for delivery!

After watching Item 47 I would be perfectly happy if the SHIELD series was similar to it.
 
Watching it again on Blu-Ray.

The first 30 or minutes still REALLY drag. The rest is great, though. Compared to TDKR, the fight scenes are much more well executed and satisfying.
 
Is there an extended cut that was rumored a while back or just deleted scenes? And have any sites reviewed the quality of this "exclusive" 90 minute documentary? Is it really worth the trouble? I can't believe there are retailer exclusives for dvd/blu-ray releases now. Absurd!

nice, was able to get a price adjustment because i pre ordered

its bullshit though. the first rep told me they wouldnt match with target but were able to refund me 5 bucks cause it dropped on amazon. then 20 mins later it goes down to 19.99.

How much was the steelbook and what was in it?


Edit - The 39.99 steelbook at FS? It's 20 dollars more than its US non-steelbook equivalent =/

they usually get trucks monday wednesday and friday, but the price stays until sunday and that version obviously gets lower stock anyways because it's a 3d bluray.

If any of you are near Colorado Springs, the stores there seem to have tons of 3D versions at Target. Picked up mine after seeing the price and doing a double take.
 
I guess buying the 3d pack @ $19.99 and hopefully grabbing a steelbook from ebay @$20ish would be the equivalent of purchasing from futureshop. I tried to calculate shipping on their site but it looks like they don't ship to the US.

EDIT: are people actually buying the $69.99 set that is exclusive to best buy? there were about 20 at the store next to work
 
I can't believe my target was out of 3d blurays. I thought surely I was the only person in LA with a 3d bluray player and TV and interested in the avengers.

They dropped the price of the 3d set to $19.99, because the 2d bluray set incorrectly said in the ad that it had a digital copy. So everybody just bought the 3d version.

I'm actually kinda pissed about this. I wasn't aware of the mistake till after I got to Target today and had totally planned on getting it for $24.99. I would have made an effort to go earlier had I known and I even went only two hours after it opened.

Now I don't know if I should order it from Amazon or not. Is Target expected to get more this week? Is their exclusive bonus disc worth it?
 
I went to bestbuy and was able to price match Target's $20 avengers 3D blu ray. Also was able to get their exclusive Avengers shirt for $10 since ($20 regular price) since I bought the movie as well!
