Eh, the overarching story being just another "defeat the big bad" plot instead of the Star Trek-like planetary colonization drama I'd like it to be really puts me off. That's not to mention the Bioware jank that's seemingly not fixed this time around. Nothing I've seen of this has particularly enthused me,.in fact it's been giving me pretty major Mirror's Edge: Catalyst vibes. I'll get it a few months after release if it gets good reviews but this is nowhere near a day one.

~graphically not overwhelming
~not feeling the side characters yet, but we'll see
~male ryder still feeling kind of generic (in the sense that he kinda looks like someone generated in the creator, not handmade like Shepard)

The horrible:
-THE ARCHON - seriously, this is the best they could come up with as antagonist? Another slightly insectoid/prothean looking dude with ROUGH ALIEN VOICE
