Added option to skip autopilot sequences in the galaxy map
Hopefully price is <$20 then...So, don't buy Mass Effect: Andromeda for another two months. That's fine by me.
Improving the appearance of eyes for humans and asari characters
Fixing Ryder's movements when running in a zig zag pattern
Over the next two months we'll be rolling out additional patches which will go even deeper and look to improve several areas of the game:
More options and variety in the character creator
Improvements to hair and general appearance for characters
Ongoing improvements to cinematic scenes and animations
Improvements to male romance options for Scott Ryder
Yeah, it's really just the beginning, because you fucked up. Great they are fixing it though. Will get the game a few months down the line when it's cheap. Don't have time to play right now anyway, still busy with BotW.And though the game is now in your hands, its really just the beginning.

Big shout-out to the die hards who bought our totally unfinished game at launch
Love, Bioware
Every game in existence now gets patches, so I guess every game is unfinished?
The remnant decryption mini game is bullshit. Was their objective to create the most annoying puzzle in the history of gaming?
Allowing you to skip ahead when travelling between planets in the galaxy map

I'm with you about the game stability. I'm 40 hours into it, and haven't experienced anything out of the ordinary for a game that big, at launch. I get the feeling people wouldn't be so vocal about the technical issues if this wasn't a Mass Effect game. The story though...well..

I have theory that people are less forgiving of bugs because they think that this game is ME2 or ME3 20-30 hours sized game and not this large big sized game that people tend to forgive bugs with like Fallout and Witcher.
well, there was this a couple of weeks ago:
so at least it definitely wasn't something they just thought of when writing this press release.
I seriously don't understand how they didn't have that option right from the start. Or why they wanted to have the animation in the first place.Added option to skip autopilot sequences in the galaxy map
This is not a good message from EA. Now I know I'll wait months for next releases. ME is one of my favorite series and I was hyped so much for a new one that I went bunker mode. Now I'll wait for it to be dirt cheap.
Why didn't they spend more resources in polishing Andromeda? They risk losing much more in preorders and early buys from next releases...
Glad it's going to be patched and people can play it and have fun.

I'm with you there, I would really like to see them do something significant on the m/m front. It's such a step back from DA2 and Inquisition, and even ME3 had Kaidan who was a squadmate.Right, I know they mentioned they were looking at it, I'm just waiting to see receipts as to this being a significant improvement versus a few extra lines and an adjusted achievement.
I realize I'm being pessimistic here, but I have friends who were really hurt by how Bioware handled M/M player options and I really hope Bioware understands a few extra scenes with Gil doesn't address the problem.
I'm glad they're going to address the underwhelming male/male romance options, but I wish they would of given a bit more detail on exactly what they're planning in that regard. Another romance option? (Preferably a squad mate.) Improved character models? New scenes for existing options? Adjusting the multiple romance trophy/achievement? Etc.

Considering how many people kept spamming #MakeJaalBi on twitter, sharing stories of woe and even searching BioWare and Mass effect brings up thousands of their posts, I am assuming that is what they are doing. Though pretty interesting how intent they were for changing who is a straight character to bisexual.
No mention of any framerate improvements or even a frigging 1080p mode for the Pro? How hard is it to implement this thing? Just give me the option to run the game in 1080p...

The problem is why did an advanced race leave sudoku puzzles around?Man, I just don't get it.
It's much a significantly easier version of Sudoku. What's the problem?

I loved the 60 hours I put into the game so far. ¯\_(ツ_/¯
The funny thing about this is that ME2 and 3 weren't bug free at all. My fiance just played through the entire trilogy not too long ago (but definitely after pretty much every patch) and had some pretty nasty freezes and other bugs pop up throughout.
In Jaal's case it's a combination of factors: a few comments made pre-release hinted at him being bi (or at least were widely taken that way), early datamining suggested he would be bi, he's a popular squadmate, and he would be the first alien M/M romance in the series.
There's a conversation to be had about changing characters' orientation after the fact, but making Jaal bi would probably be a pretty decent option from both Bioware and player POVs.
