Masters of The Universe | Official Teaser Trailer

I feel like they're heading exactly the right direction. They know it's a He-Man movie so they shouldn't take it too seriously, but they're putting their heart into it.
If that's the case, we might have some fun entertainment in store.

Also Camilla Mendes

I don't know ... this could be amazing, but it could also be a flaming trash fire. *KINDA* leaning toward the latter.

I still love Frank Langella as 80s Skeletor. He really leaned into the role.

EDIT: "When offered the role, Langella said that he "didn't even blink ... I couldn't wait to play him". He cited his then-four-year-old son Frank III's love of Skeletor while running around his house yelling He-Man's battle cry "I have the power!" as the reason he played He-Man's archenemy." Just remember who's playing Skeletor in this one 🥶

Which Leto will show up?

The amazing actor from Dallas Buyers Club (earned him a deserved Oscar) and Requiem for a Dream......

Or recent Leto who has just been phoning it in.

I need to see how they portray Skeletor. This character should be fucking jacked, which is the complete opposite of Leto. Are they going to stick him in a muscle suit?

Yep. Word is Leto had experimental surgery to become an actual skeleton to get into the role.

the other He-man movie was so removed from the source material, but was still weirdly entertaining.

so having a 'he-man gets isekai'd into your world' story again could still work

Just like the first movie
Langella's performance made it completely worth it though. It's right on par with Raul Julia's performance as M. Bison, two legendary actors hamming it up as cartoon villains with everything they could muster, prompted to take the roles at the urging of their children. Love it.

I still think Zac Efron should have walked straight from the set of The Warrior into the set of a He-Man movie. He was absolutely perfect for the part.

I'm torn. Going to wait until the proper trailer before saying much, but I see both good things and red flags in the early promo materials.

LOL I still use Fisto as my name in any game where you can name your character.

They made a character whose defining feature is a giant metal fist and they fucking named him "Fisto", it cracks me up every time I hear it.
To be fair, in those days, fisting was mostly a German porn fetish, and Fausto doesn't sound so ridiculous.

I made this all up, don't hate me Deutsche-Gaf. But it's probably true

The G-String with everyone else wearing masks is cracking me up.
Like she's been breaking wind all day or something lmao

What in the world. Roboto was one of my favourite toys from the whole series. Because the torso is translucent and you see the gears spinning. And the cool blue and red colour way.

Did his gears spin when you twisted his torso? I seem to remember performing some action with amazement.

new movie:

"I have the POWER!!"

background character (as loudly as they can) "oh shit! your cooked now!"

They made this weird Netflix cartoon show which was horrible. I think one of the worst things i ever watched. "Everyone can be heman" . :messenger_tears_of_joy:

But this looks like it could be fun, if he-man is allowed to be he-man without being nerfed by a certain ideology. And without being turned into a silly joke like Thor in the Marvel movies.

I grew up watching He-man. I'd love for this to be good, but part of me doesn't think we can be that lucky.

Sick of the pounding drums and bass drops in these trailers, the AI filters are horrible as well, like they forget to hire a cinematographer.

I'll give it a chance I guess but that trailer was nauseating.
