Got to relax by playing games about your job.Why does he care about video games he's a literal F1 driver
Isn't he in an esports team? Why does he care about video games he's a literal F1 driver
Maybe because he enjoys racing? Why does he care about video games he's a literal F1 driver
Yeah Team RedLineIsn't he in an esports team?
F1 drivers have strict limits on the time they can spend in their actual race car, the F1 is also in its off season period. Why does he care about video games he's a literal F1 driver
Star citizen is a thing you know this right?Apparently each team paid 2500€ to participate in the race... and this is the service they got in return.
Same goes for top flight footballers, they chill playing FIFA of all things, young men no matter what sport they do, occasionally like to play videogames.. not rocket scienceWhy does he care about video games he's a literal F1 driver
It's his hobby and he treats it very seriosly. He drives for one of the best teams in simracing world. And he is also one of the best simcracers. Why does he care about video games he's a literal F1 driver
When you find out he uses video game to practice instead of spend thousands to a car on the track. I know mind blowingWhy does he care about video games he's a literal F1 driver
The ideal sim racing would beRFactor 2 is disconnect prone but it does have the most advanced physics and force feedback in the sim racing world.
On topic: what could go wrong? A 24h race over the Internet
Yeah I know its fine. But the risk is always there lurkingIt's nothing uncommon. On iRacing you get multiple 24h races per year. The whole community can participate - drivers will be divided into splits and for every split there will be separate server spinned up.
It works without problems. But here they're using rFactor 2 which has a lot of problems apparently.
Max (with Readline team) actually won 24h Nurburgring and 12h Bathrust or iRacing.
2005 Indianapolis was an absolute clown show. Ferrari's strategy past year was a well ridiculed clown show.So you want the best drivers possible from the most elite Motorsport possible, playing a game you want promoted? And you think that it is unreasonable that that drivers like that would have something negative to say about unreliable infrastructure for a competitive event?
This guy is a clown.
Every Michelin starred chef i know relaxes playing cooking mama, and every politician i know plays leasure suit larry when they aren't using taxpayer money to score underage escorts...Got to relax by playing games about your job.
Seems to be they think that the best defense is a good defense. But that won't work when a current F1 world champion is racing on your servers and his criticisms on the state of the service are valid. I sure hope that people behind iRacing use this to convince Max to race in their game. What a dumb fucking take.
These guys paid a 2500 euro entry fee and then get disconnected from the race. Calling this a "clown show" is like the nicest possible thing to say in reaction to the situation, how is that "toxic behavior"?
Dismissing valid criticism and genuine disappointment is more toxic than what Max said.
Max does race in iracing. You can run into him if you play in one of the mixed class endurance races and are rated high enough.Seems to be they think that the best defense is a good defense. Well in that case he can play more or participate in tournaments. I'm sure he'll be looking into something to replace the time invested in rfactor, he seems to love online racing.Max does race in iracing. I was thinking the same.24 hour online race just sounds like asking for trouble
Funny, it happens to the best of us! Starts about 35 seconds in.
I kinda love the fact that he absolutely has no chill. A pure race car driver (even though he is kind of a dick).
Actual F1 worldchampionship, video game event...Eff it...If he is racing he wants to win it.
Clowns takeThere is a massive fucking difference between having a game disconnect in a non tourney setting and when its in one, especially when you have to pay to enter, the fuck is this take?
Disconnected 18 hours into a 24 hour race, while comfortably in first place. If it was me I'd make sure everyone knew what I thought of the event organisers too. These guys paid a 2500 euro entry fee and then get disconnected from the race. Let me guess...you are a Louis Hamilton fanboy?I kinda love the fact that he absolutely has no chill. A pure race car driver (even though he is kind of a dick).
