In addition to the Rock's B-Day, Vince is all about celebrating the death of a tyrant tonight.

“Raw” Patriotism Tonight On USA Network

STAMFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--WWE© (NYSE:WWE) today announced that it will host the biggest party to celebrate our country’s patriotism on “Monday Night Raw®” airing live on USA at 9 p.m. ET from American Airlines Arena in Miami.

It is fitting that WWE celebrate this historic day in our country’s ongoing fight against terrorism, as WWE SmackDown® was the first public assembly after the tragedy of September 11th, taking place live from Houston on September 13, 2001.

As part of tonight’s show, WWE will replay Superstar John Cena® announcing the news about Osama Bin Laden to the crowd at last night’s Extreme Rules® pay-per-view in which the crowd spontaneously chanted U-S-A.
"Hey Cenation, I just won my 10th world title. But that doesn't matter right now. WE KILLED OSAMA. Let's party!"

If Vince was really smart, he'd have some dude dressed up like Osama come to the ring only for Cena to give him the FU through a table. Cue balloons/fireworks/USA USA USA chants!

RAW will probably start with a video honoring our troops and the death of Bin Laden.

Even that is too much for me. I hate it when the WWE has politics, armies, RAH RAH, WOO NATIONAL ANTHEM YEAH!, stuff in there.

If Muhammad Hassan wasn't so happy with his life outside of wrestling, then this...actually, I'm not sure it'd be a good time or not.

Isn't there an Iranian American down in FCW now is the perfect time. And as Bishoff used to say "Controversy creates cash".

I think everyone involved would rather see Cena holding the title rather than losing it then re-winning it lord knows how many times.

big hd lamp is stuttering a lot for me. Might have to use a different lamp for TE/RAW.

Veetle has great Raw lamps. Magic TV is the one I use every week.

How about Cena drops it to someone like...R-Truth, for example, and then uses that to springboard him into the main event, and elevate other guys like Morrison, while he goes on to bigger things to fight The Rock. Still keep your big main event at 'Mania, and then help push younger guys.

Of course I know this will never happen.

That's crazy talk!
Little kids won't buy Cena's merchandise if he isn't OVERCOMING THE ODDS.
Every heel must lose until they are shamed into leaving for other organizations.

It doesn't matter he got his reign, when all those doubters said he never would, that he was too old, too plain and did not have the right look. He did it. He never stopped believing.

Booker T is an even worse commentator than Matt Stryker.. I didnt think it was possible.
You must be confusing Booker T and Matt Striker for Michael Cole. I know it can some times be an easy mistake to make, even though one is a black man and the other is an intelligent dude, while Cole is a hair-brained talentless douche who puts himself over instead of the wrestlers, excuse me, superstars.. Easy mistake to make though. You'll do better next time.

Cole IS awful at the moment, but when he's not being insanely obnoxious and loud because of this shit feud he isn't a bad commentator. But imo Booker should never have such a large role on the commentary team as he did last night, it was painful to listen to at times.

I'll take Booker over Lawler sometimes. Lawler is only good when he is paired with JR.

PS: N:CIS is a horrible tv show.

Get rid of the whole lot of them.

Give me Mathews, Stanford, Grisham, Punk, Striker and Regal... with an occasional cameo from JR and Styles.

I take Booker, Punk with Vince as the host...He was actually decent

This show is so weird. The tone and how they treat wrestling is like a complete 180 from what we're about to see on Raw. It's like Vince has yet to actually see Tough Enough or something.

WWE basically had no control over the show. I have been surprised by the lack of promo challenges though. You would think they would want to teach that part or test these guys in that regard. Ryan cut a good promo, but that is pretty much all they've shown.

IIRC the show is produced completely by an outside team and not WWE's normal TV production people. That would explain things.

Edit: Ninja'd by Bobo, :lol .

Shed Media and WWE both share control of the show, but Shed has more of the reigns.

From The Observer (Thanks dream):

Some more Tough Enough notes. The control of the show was WWE and Shed Media, but most of the shots were called by Shed Media. Shed Media was the company that put the deal together to get Steve Austin. But nobody got 100% input on the show and there was give-and-take on disagreements. WWE hates the terms indy wrestling, indy promotion, working indies, etc. being used on the show. Both the USA Network and Shed Media liked those terms, so they are not edited out of the show if the cast uses them. The cast was able to use terms like pro wrestling and pro wrestlers without editing, however on the 4/25 show, when Bret Hart talked about being a “professional wrestler,” they actually sound edited the word “wrestler,” out, which came across as awkward on television. Shed Media and the USA Network were pushing for Rima Fakih to win, feeling her participation and winning would give the show lots of press after the season and build momentum for the second season, but as the show went on, that was impossible to justify and Fakih, the least skilled of the competitors, was cut on this past week’s show. While on the show she said that she would make her way back and make it in the profession, that had been a common response of people on the show who were cut, and the vast majority never go to indies, or if they do, give up on them relatively quickly. Since the show ended, she hasn’t talked about getting into wrestling. Eric Watts and Ricardo Rodriguez worked together in Southern California indies and are very good friends. Both trained together starting out. At one point during the filming it was acknowledged that Christina Crawford was the sister of Alicia Fox. But nobody knows if that will make the final edit. The people all wanted an African American woman on the show and very few applied. They picked her and also picked a second one who had no wrestling experience or knowledge and she was cut right away. They would have used Trinity McCray (Naomi Night) in that spot but people had seen her on NXT. Michelle Deighton got the spot partially because of being married to Johny Fairplay and being on “America’s Next Top Model.”
