I prefer the segment where Christian had to tag with MVP, Truth, Kofi and Mark Henry and said that he didn't fit in because unlike the other members of his team, he was on ECW and Canadian. :lol

Serious question, who's the last black guy to have a world title in WWE? Booker?

EDIT: Although I guess you can't scream racism when the whole company went down on the Rock for 2 hours last night.

Yes.

It was Booker, back in 06 sadly.

Whenever a black super star gets even close to seeing gold or being at the top of the card, that glass ceiling keeps him down. I fear something will keep Truth down as well.

If you wanna count ECW, then Ezekial Jackson.

To be fair I think talent will keep Truth down. I mean yeah he's interesting now, but he was never exactly a wizard in the ring. If anyone deserves the damn thing it's Kofi, but he's just been booked horribly for a year plus now.

Too bad Kofi has zero mic skills and a stupid boom gimmick and a finisher that is easily countered.

Mid-card is his destiny.

Cena's title reign will keep Truth down.

I wholeheartedly agree.

What the fuck, have you not seen the Kofi vs. Orton feud? Kofi has mic skills. I'm glad he got rid of the stereotypical pseudo-Jamaican gimmick.

I don't see how Kofi's gimmick is any more stupid than a half dozen other wrestlers who have held the title. And I don't think Kofi is terrible on the mic, either. He's not cringe-inducing like JoMo at least. The Kofi from the Orton feud could have easily been World Champion.

Nope, I haven't. I think since I started watching WWE again I've seen Kofi say about 3 lines at most.

Lol. That's why. Don't spread inaccuracies: Kofi is good on the mic, and he had a great feud with Randy Orton. It's a shame that the feud went nowhere and kept Kofi at midcard.

Kofi destroying Orton's car.

He has a great moveset, too. Always great to see in ring, and here is one of my favorite moves, the S.o.S/Ranhei.

Man after watching those I just have to wonder what the eff went wrong. I know he botched an ending to one of his matches with Orton, but does that really deserve a year and a half of midcard hell? The guy is super over and a good wrestler. WTF, WWE?

– Sunday’s Extreme Rules pay-per-view event featured 1 hour, 38 minutes and 47 seconds of in-ring action. By comparison, WrestleMania XXVII had 1 hour, 41 minutes and 6 seconds of in-ring action.

lol

Wait...SERIOUSLY? In 2 hours and 50 minutes they had over an hour of fluff? Even WORSE for WM XXVII?

Wow.
That wasn't fluff.
That was ENTERTAINMENT.

Bear in mind that out of that 1 hour & 41 minutes of "in-ring" action for WrestleMania, some 20 minutes of that featured Michael Cole (an announcer) beating up a 60-year-old.

So apparently Luke from Tough Enough has been in some gay wrestling videos http://www.bgeast.com/home.php

He goes by the name Donnie Drake lol

Wow.

Wrestlemania was 4 hours long.

The hour of "fluff" on extreme rules was mostly entrances and video packages setting up the matches. Very little in the way of skits.

Extreme rules was a PPV done right.

You also need to keep in mind it takes time to set up the pyro/lights etc before each match and change the ring canvas twice a night(you'd know the second part if you've ever seen a live show).

Wrestlemania was garbage, Extreme Rules wasn't.

If only they would learn. Extreme Rules was the best recent PPV. And they could improve immensely by eliminating the goofy matches. We desire more wrestling and less goofiness. Fairly simple, WWE.

rock isnt even black

What?

His father is black. Dwayne Johnson...

His mother is Somoan.

He's at least half. If his mother is ghetto somoan, he's 100.

I'd say his complexion is what sort of makes him stand out and not get thrown in the stereotypical black role.

Also, LOL at Ezekial (sp) Jackson and Mason Ryan.

I just heard Kurt Angle's mistress is going to be
Chyna
and not Aloisa that was fired from NXT like I mentioned earlier, but she is supposed to debut.

Oh wow if true. More unstable personalties in TNA.

Seems more like a wishful thinking rumor, rather than the real thing. What would possess her to come back after so many years away from the business, and then go to TNA?

Wait, is this a true report or is it one of those Rafa reports?

getting drug money from a company that actively encourages a drug culture. that's like hitting the jackpot for her.

I had a bunch of stuff to say with numbers and time calculations all mapped out but forget that. Remove Extreme Rules from the discussion as it's just an anomaly.

On the norm, when you take out the "fluff" time in regards to ring set up, entrances, and promo vids, the WWE wastes so much of the actual WRESTLING time with BS matches, unadvertised squashes, and Michael Cole segments that PPV's are filled with a ton of wasted time. The actual REAL feuds with good wrestlers and/or Title Matches have to split the remainder, and it leads to a PPV where the majority of it is filled with junk. Combine that with their PPV prices, and they're pretty much robbing people.

I'll give you 50-60 minutes of "non-wresting time" but the rest should be focused on stuff with a purpose.
