McGangBang........I'M lovin it

Unfortunately Carl's jr does not have a double cheeseburger.... it only has a SUPER STAR WITH CHEESE! pictures and video later. It was AMAZING...

EDIT: maybe not...
 
Ok, I gave in and I'm about to try this (using a McDouble instead of the standard double cheeseburger for dollar menu consistency). Here we go...

Interesting. It doesn't taste like a burger and a chicken sandwich stacked together, which, despite the hyperbole in this thread, was what I expected. There's something...different. Synergy. This is the kind of thing I could get used to, if it wouldn't lead to my premature death. Consider me a converted skeptic.
 
I soo want to try this, i've been short of money lately but as soon i have enough to go to McDonalds i will try this.

I don't know if they serve Double Cheeseburger around here though i think they do but i'm not sure, so i might have to try it with a Double Quarter Pounder :lol :lol :lol

I failed the first time. The dollar menu at the McD's I went to was terrible. I'll try another today.

Had one for lunch. 2 cheeseburguers + 4 nuggets (3 used) but this time with bbq sauce on the nuggets. Soooo good.

I had one this weekend and it wasn't as good as all the hype. It was just really weird. I think the lettuce and mayo ruined it. Replace those with bbq sauce and we might be on to something.

yup, the double cheese was stuck together, so I put the whole thing into the crispy chicken. Layout was
Top Bun from Crispy chicken
Whole double cheese
Rest of Crispy Chicken
Not that it made a world of a difference.

Pretty damn good. I did keep the Chif-fil-pickles even after I ditched their bun. Grilled onions on the double-double.
 
I had one at Wendys, with BBQ sauce (I cant remember for the life of me if I posted this or not, since I was kind of drunk but anyway). It was okay. Kind of a lot of food lol.

Also, does anyone think there is a chance that this phenomenon could catch on all across the interweb to the point where fast food chains pick up on it and actually incorporate a pre-made version into their menu?! :O That would be amazing. GAF > INTERNET > REAL WORLD > GAF????
 
So for some reason I felt compelled to try a McGangBang tonight.. and it ended up tasting a hell of a lot better than I would've expected.

You did it wrong. You are supposed to keep atleast the bottom bun of the chicken samich
 
My local McDonald's don't have a spicy chicken sandwich, so I made do with a regular McChicken with buffalo sauce. I have no idea what I ate. :lol

verdict: pretty awesome, hurts bad, would definitely benefit from some chili sauce. (no spicy chicken here :( )
btw the mcdouble (double beef and cheese) is $1.95 here.. and doublecheeseburger is $4.25. wtf???

i'm going to lie down now.
 
Well, after all this talking about it, I decided that it was time for me to go ahead and give this a whirl, but in the Wendy's style with BBQ sauce.

It was CERTAINLY way better than the sum of their parts separate, and if I regularly ate fast food I'd totally hit this up. Next time I try it it's going to be the much tastier, more expensive version; I'm gonna get it at Burgerville. It could prove to be a decent rival to the In N Out/Chick Fil A combo. MMMmmmm....... :D
 
OMG I officially joined the club 5 minutes ago. All I will say is... it was worth the hype :O
