I wonder if FE dropped loads, or if it's a really big week.

Either Guild 01 did very well indeed, or it isn't.

I thought DQM would do well, but I didn't think it'd break the record. Wow.

Media Create has Monster Hunter 3G quite higher than Famitsu (521,959) so it won't be that easy for Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry’s Wonderland 3D to outsell it.

At least I'm happy to see that it got a decent shipment, 400k would have been a really laughable one.

Dragon's Dogma being above Mario Tennis Open must mean that it didn't completely collapse in its second week, I expect a 75% - 80% drop.

3DS doing greatly. Very well also for DQ, considering also the rumors we had about stock problems.
Also DD, obviously especially on PS3, is doing very very well!

Everything else seems quite disappointing.

How does this compare to other DQM openings?
Dragon Quest Monsters Joker - 593,994 [Dec 28, 2006]
Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2 - 623.643 [Apr 28, 2010, Golden Week]
Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2 Professional - 163.008 [Mar 31, 2011]
Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry’s Wonderland 3D - 513,183 [May 31, 2012]

So at this point I think all Japanese developers are going to only make games that have dragons significantly featured in the game and/or title.
