I can agree with this. Street Fight X Tekken Vita will be way too low for any meaningful results

How does Bravely Default, AKB48+ME and Project X Zero look like they will perform?

Are we looking at potential or certain 100k+ sellers there?

Bravely default is the one I'd not be so sure of though I think at the very least it should make it passed that mark in the end, project I'm thinking should finish close to 300k

I was saying overall it will do 1 mil on PS3 not first week.

Well so according to you all it wont sell more One Piece which did 600k + first week ?

I expect 650k - 700k sales for RE6 First week<_<

isnt it the most anticipated game in Japan ?

Correct me if am wrong

Resident Evil 5 PS3 only sold like 300,000 its first week in Japan. I don't see it selling more than that its first week. And console gaming is weaker now that the handheld market has almost completely taken over in Japan, so it won't have legs.

He's a pretty swell guy in my books anyway.

Resident Evil hasn't be affected by that, otherwise ORC would've easily flopped.

I think it will do 300k in its first week but it won't have the legs of RE5. But I don't think its legs will be as terrible as ORC's. It won't sell 1 million lifetime in Japan though.
RE:ORC did 268K on both platforms first week. It was a spinoff that was of poor quality and didn't appeal to the japanese market. I think 300K first week would be dismal. I don't think it will hit 1 million either but I think you're lowballing it. The only reasons I see it massively underperforming is franchise fatigue, the last few entries spinoff and mainline have been dissapointing, and PS3 winding down. With that said I think all signs point to it having strong sales. It will be a lot more frontloaded because the PS3 is winding down and Japanese RE fans already own a PS3 compared to RE5 where a lot had yet to make the jump.

even if that's the case, it doesn't mean it will do 1 million in Japan on PS3.

Resident Evil 6 being more anticipated than One Piece Musou isn't something given.

And being a core series released on the same platform later in the generation, it'll probably be more frontloaded than its predecessor. May still sell the same amount in the end (i.e. shorter legs), but more front-loaded than RE5 seems a reasonable expectation.

The PS3 version will also pick up some of the 360 sales as well. There's no way the 360 version sells 125k again. A good chunk of that will move to PS3 - along with a more front-loaded start and picking up some of the customers from the many budget/rereleases, the PS3 version should start a good deal better than PS3 RE5.
