Decent debut for the 2DS too, but it's the holidays that will decide whether it's a success or not.

As expect 50k was just insanity low for PS4 this week. I predicted 95k so looks like i was pretty spot on :p

96K for PS4 is great, I predicted 100K so I was 3.6K off. P5 did great too, below my predictions of 290k PS4 and 80k PS3 but still good.

337k for Persona 5. It's not bad by any means, but after being hyped by some to do +500k numbers in its first week (which were impossible), it feels like it could have done a bit more. Regardless, it's a great sales number, even if people had their expectations way to high.

My expectations for a big week for Persona was due to the Slim launch, still expecting 500-600k by the end of the year

Yes. Because there's no way it would have been able to even ship that much in the first week.

a bit below expectation for PS4 Slim. Was expecting more sales from it especially after the last 2 weeks of lost sales.
Will be interesting to see what is the new floor of PS4 sales in next 6 - 12 months.

what was mgs 5 debut in comparison? bundle sales are included in persona 5 sales? i understand that would be low anyways

also p5 digital should be pretty high so overall very good for persona 5

Yeah, that's pretty decent for PS4. Beat Vita's price cut week, which was the low bar for this kind of thing haha.

Kinda interesting that all this new footfall gave a slight boost to Vita hardware too.

2DS is ehh. Pro Evo is barely clinging to life. Tokyo Xanadu is cratering. Dragon Ball Fusions however, not bad at all.
