It's second only to the GW 2007 one, which topped at 41 pages of posts.

This feels like PSP-DS in 2005-2006, sales-age is back bitches.

is 4Gamer the only source for these hardware/software numbers?

Last year, inside-games.jp or Gamespot provided them at much hours later than the usual MC datas, and only the top 10 (with the rest of datas released with the rest of top 50 )

Well that's bullshit, I really wanted to see them too. Well hell. :/

EDIT: Vita is only 72K? Holy fucking shit. That's far below what I expected. Way way below. :/ I thought the point of a holiday launch was to ensure early good sales numbers, not this. For compairsion, I would like to see original DS's second week launch numbers. That might be interesting.

Seems like Sony will have to pull a gamecube on the price if they want keep selling.

is this just feeding off the tail end of the initial Vita launch shipment or did they reup more units recently?

If this is the trend and the shipment is really at 700k units it might sell out in April.

ULTROS!

People seem to like me because I am polite and I am rarely late. I like to eat ice cream and I really enjoy a nice pair of slacks.
Probably because there's not much exciting games for Vita?

Hope next year Vita does better with Persona 4, Gundam, Tales, etc.

The hell with the Wii. Throughout the year, its underachievment and all of teh sudden, its on god like mode. The hell make people change thier opinion on the system on the hiliday season?

I will buy two if that happens. Please Sony, lower your prices for th eVita, I am too poor to buy your bloody expensive (ie over priced) hardware in Europe while US is getting a better deal for it.

It has been like this for the past two years, I see no reason to be surprised. It's the first year though that this spike is not enough to take the YTD back from PS3.

PSP is still selling well. I guess the momentum needs to shift from the PSP to Vita, but still, these numbers are slightly disappointing.
