Ocean blue PSP exists more than 2 years in Japan, The new value pack does not contain exactly an extraordinary new color that people will line to buy.

Yes, but the question is will price cut mean anything now - everyone that wanted a PSP has it, IMO. Not to mention it will make Vita look even more expensive!

Oh yeah I forgot Vita. Some reasons that I'm more into PSP vs 3DS war (same hardware style).

Pretty hilarious no one cared when Sony was dominating, but all the sudden Nintendo is doing well and its "omg hey! hey! look guys!" lol
It's more interesting when anything is doing something huge or unprecedented. But Wii/DS slowing down is not the same thing as PS3/PSP dominating.

With price cuts at the right time and assuming sony dont kill it i wouldnt be surprised now if the psp lives longer than vita

The Famitsu ranking for top 10 will be available in roughly two hours and a half. That's why you have to hurry to give your predictions otherwise they will be not counted.

Ah.
I wasn't interested in any predictions :p (and even if I were, I have no context anyway, it's been a few weeks since I followed Sales Age).

Thanks though!

The blog says it sold over half a million in the first week. It doesn't specify how much it actually sold. The source is actually the same blog which said that the sell-through was over 90%. That means the sales for the first week should be close to or over 600k.

I wonder how the triumvirate will hold on this week. Will all software which debuted last week fall past them ?

Am i right in thinking the 90% came from one specific retailer?

If their hold is as good as last week, it's a pretty safe bet.

Edit: Maybe Harvest Moon will stay higher, depends on how frontloaded it was.

Amazing figures If One Piece: Kaizoku Musou has debuted selling comfortably over the half a million mark.

In this generation only 7 console games have managed this achievement.

Final Fantasy XIII - 1,516,532
New Super Mario Bros Wii - 936,734
Super Smash Bros. Brawl - 816,198
Mario Kart Wii - 608,147
Final Fantasy XIII-2 - 605,660
Monster Hunter 3 - 582,548
Tales of Xilia - 512,544

Garaph has listed five games that debuted selling over 500k units but didn't break the million mark.

World Soccer Winning Eleven 9, Dynasty Warriors 5, Dissidia: Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy XIII-2 and Tales of Xillia.

The most suitable choice would be Dynasty Warriors 5. It debuted with 560,733 units and ended its run with 917,985.

Dynasty Warriors 4 was a million seller game but it had a much bigger opening (723,127).
Samurai Warriors sold 1,024,253 units debuting with 620,893 units.

So if One Piece: Kaizoku Musou is very close or over 600k (better this) I see a viable (though not much likely) possibility to become the second million-selling game on PS3.

Harvest Moon seems to have held well.

And WOW at One Piece.

What's currently the second highest LTD - and what's the likelihood of One Piece Musou topping that?

Pretty big 3DS presence in the chart.
I didn't expect such a high debut for Mario & Sonic, though it could easily be in the 20-30k range.
