Megaton: Halo 3 4 player coop online. Confirmed! Believe!

Every player will have identical abilities – only their appearance and weapon starts are different (Elites will start with Carbines versus Battle Rifles for example, depending on the mission). So there you have it. Mystery solved. Internet dramas ended. Four player online co-op it is. And a special thanks to the test, engineering, production and design teams who worked incredibly hard to make this feature happen.

I think they've been working on it for a looong time. This whole "woot guys, we managed to do it finally !" sounds a bit wrong. So yeah, I think it should be alright.

Yah the cloaking really opens up the gameplay. I am sure all will be revealed soon.

Yes, but it's still restricted to two per-TV. Meaning you can do it if you have two systems.

they already said only 2 player co-op on one xbox but you can system link or go live with the two people on the one box.

So which is the blue elite? N’tho ‘Sraom or Usze ‘Taham? I am assuming Usze ‘Taham as the purple one looks smaller/younger...
 
Well, I got my Zinio EGM, but it's just not the same as having it in my hands. I can't wait to get my EGM in the mail, because there's something... awkward and different about reading EGM on the computer.
 
Maybe by abilities they mean health, speed, jumping etc.

They mentioned in the update something about "sending a scout to search out the path ahead". Now I may not be a graduate of the Kill Bot Factory, but surely this is something you would want a cloak for?

Course, I'm probably just being optimistic. Chief and 3 cloaked Elites = winnar.

Not so! You see, up until a month or so ago, we were just laying around, eating pizza and adding cliffhanger endings (cause we figured, you know, that's what people want, right?), and then suddenly the internet was all "omg Bungie stop eating pizzas and add online coop!"

And we were all "holy craps, they wanted online coops!? How did we not know this?!" So we stopped laying around and eating pizza and stuffed it in. Cause that's how game dev works, right? Right!

Bungie would not have implemented if it gimped the game.. apparently, that is they way they work. They don´t "toss" stuff in just to have that feature...
