Its ok, some people can't tell what's sarcasm and what's not over the internets.Proelite said:You fail to see through it? It's all a conspiracy!
Proelite said:You really think they would post such a malign article like this without consorting with Bungie or Microsoft first? :lol
This is planned.
BBC, the CineB dude, and this are part of something bigger.

It all makes sense now.Voltron64 said:A Series of tubes.
Clearly they want the gaming populace to get angry about Bungie not including bots so they can announce them 1 week before release! Just like what they pulled with online co-op.Ramirez said:It's planned? What good comes from this if it was first passed by Bungie/MS? I'm confused by your thinking on that one.

Ramirez said:The article blasts Halo 3 for not changing it's core gameplay, but then lists CoD4 as something it is afraid of...every impression I've read says it's just like CoD2, but on roids. (Not that I mind, I love CoD2! It's just that why blast one game then list a slew of games that are doing nothing close to what Halo 3 has added so far!)
Isurus said:I completely agree. I don't understand how people can think that COD4 will play much different than COD2. Don't get me wrong; I'm sure the game will be fun. But, besides a few small additions to gameplay, I'm sure the game is going to play almost exactly like its predecessor. And that isn't necessarily a bad thing, just like it won't be for Halo. I like these games because they already have a winning formula. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

It's my opinion, but three asisinine articles in one day from three sources that used to publish fine impressions of halo 3 just doesn't seem right. The teamxbox one especially.
Ramirez said:I was under the impression that TXB was so far up MS's ass that there was no way possible they would ever publish something so stupid towards a MS game, much less Halo. Maybe you're right, I dunno.
Jtyettis said:Did you see some of their impressions from the Beta, naw they had some of the same impressions, aka H2.5, in the Beta impressions thread. I know for a fact Shockwave, one of the guys that works over there said some of the same things at the time. I just want to know if they have seen any of the single player stuff like EGM because those shots are sweet. The article reeks of garbage though.
No. And because all of the elites have their own backstories and identities I doubt we will be able to.LegendofJoe said:I asked this same question a while back, but just in case Bungie has said something I'm going to ask again. Did Bungie say anything about the armor on the 2 elites in coop being customizable?

The only thing I can guess is they're using Halo 3 to help promote those other games. But goddamn what a shitty way to do it.
Report him to 1-800-4MY-XBOX - tell them his gamertag and I'm sure they'll look into it.sixthsubset said:i hate to go off-topic, but is there a fast, efficient way of getting someone banned from XBL?

It is possible to go as far as getting somebodys IP address but there is not much you can do beyond that. The guy might have tried to "spoof" his IP address by setting the same IP address on his own system but I don't think that would do any good.Cocopjojo said:So he had, like... his Xbox bridged through his computer, and had a program tracking all the information being transmitted and extracting all of the IP addresses contained within... and then, somehow associating an IP address with a particular player... and then, somehow gaining control of the gateway that that IP address is connecting through, and then blocking that gateway from transmitting/receiving data... yeah. And no, sorry, there's not a way to get someone banned really quickly. Just report him and let the Banhammer go to work.
I just made all of that stuff up, there's not a way he could shut off your internet connection. But for those computer gurus out there (I'm not one), did all that stuff I said make any sense? As in, could that actually be possible?
