Men, did you ever have earrings?

Nope. Never have and never will.

I said my piece of my feeling about piercings in the other earring thread, so I won't repeat it here.

I have three ear piercings in my lobes on each side. I used to have my upper cartilage pierced on both sides too, but they were too hard to maintain, so I let them close up.

Yup, just one in my left ear during the 90's. My girlfriend (now wife) thought it was cool and so did I. Now she sometimes asks me to wear it again and I just laugh. it seems ridiculous now.

Getting ear rings, when you are a guy, kicks up your douche factor by 50%.

One ear ring = you are a half-douche. Two ear rings = pretty much a full-douche

and yes, it is possible to go beyond a 100% in the douche scale.

I had two in my left ear in the early to mid 90's. I got a little too close to the circle pit at a Filter concert at the Masquerade in Atlanta and someone ripped the lower one out (dangling feather... SO stupid). It pulled out of the hole instead of ripping straight through, but it hurt like hell and bled like crazy. I immediately took the other one out and never put either of them back in.

Now, I just rock the 20 rings on the dual tattoed shafts of my split penis.
I just wanted to make you uncomfortable with that image.

I had my left ear pierced in the '90s. Where I lived it wasn't common, but I moved to another city and there it was fairly common to wear one in the left ear, so I got the other ear pierced and wore them in both ears. I still remember the "right ear is gay" bullshit.

That only lasted a few years after that. I'm glad I wasn't that young when plugs hit the scene.

Back in high school when I was in the scene, doing football socializing. Now I don't really see a point unless I'm bored.

I have one on each ear. If I don't wear them the holes are barely noticeable, and if someday I grow tired of them it will heal back anyway.

In 1982, when I was 16 I convinced a friend to get our left ears pierced. I made him go first so I could see how much it was going to hurt. This was in West Virginia; there was only one other guy who had an earring, but he was a dropout grit, so we were the first "normal" kids to do it (and we were complete nerds). It was quite scandalous. Guys were always threatening to beat us up and called us names. The next year, there must have been a dozen who did it, most of them from the same group that wanted to kick our asses for being "faggots." I let it heal over a few years later.

I considered it, but my father would have forcibly removed it.

I got both of my ears pierced at 17 and kept them in until the end of my sophomore year in college. I ended up taking them out since my left ear kept getting infected.

Generalizations! Yay! You yourself are the biggest douche in here.

I used to look pretty good with one earring on my left ear. Now that I'm older, not so much. I can't really pinpoint why, but I look weird now if I try to wear one. It just doesn't work anymore. It's like Harrison Ford syndrome or something.

Wow at the few judgmental pricks in this thread. Earrings are fine and doesn't define a person. Some people go overboard, some people keep it discreet. Sheesh the hate for something different.

How old are you?

I had my ears pierced as a teenager, I got bored with it after about a year and stopped wearing them. I assume the hole is closed now but my ears still look pierced.

My mum got my left ear pierced when i was about 8, i'm 25 now. Still rock it, not the exact same one obviously, just a plain black circle.

My friend copied me and got his ear pierced too but unknowingly got it in the 'gay ear' and stopped wearing it.

no earrings, no tattoos

not that I'm against it but I'm just indecisive

I would maybe go for a reprogrammable animated GIF tattoo

Had them since I was 18. I'm am 33 and still have one in each ear. Had my lebret pierced for two years but removed it cause it was messing with my front teeth.

I had both my ears pierced in my freshman year of college at the behest of my then girlfriend. Kept them going for a few years until I just stopped one day. The piercings are still there and I can probably 'repierce' the ears myself by wearing some earrings if I wanted to. I just don't see a reason for it.

my sister suggested it to me once or twice in the 90s. Never did though. not really opposed to it, I don't think it looks as bad as people in this thread are making it sound.

Wow I don't really get the hate for guys with pierced ears. If it's not your thing then it's not your thing. That being said I always wanted to and was curious what I'd look like with my ears pierced. About 2 years ago I pierced them just for fun. I then met my current girlfriend and she wasn't a huge fan so I took them out. I also pierced my eyebrow when I was 21. I only kept it in for a few months.

Nope, I never liked the look. Also had a room mate get his ear pierced once and it got infected so that just cemented my desire to not get one.
