See, the thing about MG1 is that it's short enough to the point where it could easily fit in as MGSV's last half. However, there's a lot they could elaborate on and fit into it's own game. Stuff like expanding upon all the characters like Madnar, Gray Fox, and the whole resistance could fill up everything neatly. Same goes for MG2 even more so. The game is similar in length to MGS1 by itself, so if they expanded upon the story and gameplay it could easily take up a decent sized game. There's no way would tell both stories in MGSV without some serious trimming.
My guess: MGSV ends with a phone call between big Boss and Snake, talking about Operation Intrude 314. Sets up a remake of MG1 perfectly. What they do with MG2 is up in the air at that point. The game definitely deserves a remake, but the likely option of including it alongside an MG1 remake would kinda devalue the whole finale of MG1 in my opinion. Almost the exact same scenario happens in both games with Big Boss fighting Snake, so having both games back to back like that would create some pretty bad fatigue unless they differentiated both fights greatly.
