Do you ever just love explaining random moments from Metal Gear to friends completely out of context and revel in their reaction to how fucking crazy the series is? Telling them about having a sword fight on top of federal Hall with the former president of the United States who's wearing an eyepatch and a Dr. Octopus suit is my favourite thing to bring up when someone asks me about the games.

Both MGS3 + 4 were around those numbers, which I think are more than respectable. I'd say 4-5 million would be a good bar to aim for.

I expect way more. MGS4 alone sold 6 million copies and that was PS3 only.

i remember that vgas 2012 stealth reveal fondly. loved that thread when everybody was trying to piece evidence together. killing blow was when someone realised the bits cut out of the phantom pain logo spelled out 'METAL GEAR SOLID V'
