It will probably bomb worse than Code Name STEAM.It's this years Code Name: S.T.E.A.M.
Whelp, my dates are all off so that makes the reason like all kinds of wrong.
But still, I'm standing by that KI:U was going to be a Metroid because of how the game plays (my only source is my thoughts). Seriously, play KI:U like it was a Metroid, but before saying that that is not how a Metroid game is, look at Other M and now Federation Force, and ask yourself "What is Metroid?"
Sorry for blowing things our of whack if I did.
It will probably bomb worse than Code Name STEAM.
Lol, no.It will probably bomb worse than Code Name STEAM.
It will probably bomb worse than Code Name STEAM.
Didnt Code Name Steam bomb even harder than TW101?
Not possible, like no. But then again people said the same about Splatoon, so I wont even bother arguing. It will probably bomb worse than Code Name STEAM.
Yeah, it didnt even chart on media create on it's launch week, famitsu gave it like 1400 units if I remember right.Wow, is that true!?
The thing that interests me is that she will show up in the game, I wonder how?any game that doesnt have Samus as the main character isnt a Metroid game
its just a lie
A LIE
Well, at least the soundtrack will likely be great. Kenji Yamamoto is a very talented person.
- a mission involves Metroids
- Samus will make an appearance
I don't think that is possibleIt will probably bomb worse than Code Name STEAM.
I see the Metroid fanboys are still supporting the Conspiracy Theories that Nintendo secretly hates Metroid. Next you'll be telling me Nintendo forced the Next Level Games devs at gunpoint to make the game, just like when Retro made Tropical Freeze.Nintendo doesn't care about their Metroid property.
They'd never pull this stunt with Mario or Link. Even when Nintendo tries a different direction with those characters, they maintain a quality art standard.
This game is an embarrassment. And its imminent commercial failure will turn Nintendo further away from the Metroid franchise, which upsets me even more.
Can't wait for this! Everything I've seen since the shitty initial trailer looks awesome. Day 1 for me.
It should perhaps also be noted that a different Kenji Yamamoto (山本 健誌 is responsible for the score of many other video games at Nintendo (such as the Metroid series).

That game bombed. I mean really really bombed hard. It was kind of depressing given it was a new IP which people always clamor for
It was between Starfox and Kid Icarus, Sakurai chose Kid Icarus. There was an interview somewhere that goes over this.
That's not really enough time to completely redesign the art style. You know...
This thing probably comes out in February 2016, so they have about six months to polish up those graphics.

A fantastic game with brutal difficulty, that people ignored because it's not Advance Wars? All while hiding behind the facade of, 'oh, but the turns take too long!' Despite being sped up a could weeks after launch. (Or in this case, not the Metroid they wanted?)It's this years Code Name: S.T.E.A.M.

I really think people that go one about that the most are people that don't buy games that much but prefer to talk about them. Codename Steam also had a number of issues that caused it not to review well. Some of the issues is making it hard for me to finish the game. That and people didn't ask for a new IP from IS or Nintendo on the strategy front but instead new entries in IP they had. There is a reason they got questions about Advance Wars. Here's hoping they paid attention to that.I don't think that is possible

So do I.I've been saying since its reveal that Federation Force will be s solid package. Next Level Games has never made a bad game while working with Nintendo and Tanabe and this will be no exception I'm sure. The fact that it's a Metroid game bothers me a bit, but honestly...whatever. I plan on picking this up at launch.

Yeah, that's possible. People like their comfort food.
While this is true, that doesn't mean there aren't loads of times where people don't give games (and consoles) a fair chance and end up missing out on really good games.Don't blame "people" for Nintendo's inability to make the game appealing. "People" don't have to hide behind anything or make excuses why they don't want a thing, it's up to Nintendo to make them want it. Whether it's gameplay or art style or marketing or presentation, no matter where its faults may or may not lie, its failure is on them.
Same applies to the Wii U, the Vita (which I adore), etc.
This is fairly shaky ground. Who are these people? How do we know some people didn't want new strategy IPs from Nintendo or IS? Why is the overall sentiment that Nintendo needs to create new IPs, but IS is somehow the opposite? What about old IPs from Nintendo, do people not want those? That and people didn't ask for a new IP from IS or Nintendo on the strategy front but instead new entries in IP they had.
