MGS4 LE Bundle - 40GB/$600/includes LE game/sold @ konami.com

Edit: No, actually I have THREE in my cart. And I have to reduce it to one. You know THAT'S not going to work.

Finally managed to register again, then it tells me my log in is already being used (which is my e-mail addy, so I'm sure it's me), yet when I tried to do the password recovery it said that there was no account with that e-mail... Anyway I think I'm about to say fuck it, I already have a (60GB) PS3 and the LE version of the game preordered, I was only going to buy this to flip it on ebay, but I think I'd rather just work...

Ahhh. This will be the fourth time I've had it in my cart, and the whole flippin site took a dump in the bed before I could successfully navigate to the stupid checkout.

aaaah i hate this. im having flashbacks to nov. 2006 and i don't like it.

i managed to get the item in my cart (i think, it says subtotal $0.00 - but that might be because it's a preorder) but when I go to fill in my information, i keep getting this message:

Okay, here is my set of logic:

* I have the Limited Edition of the game already pre-ordered.
* This bundle is a mere 40 GB model.
* It costs fucking $600.
* I can buy a 40 GB model and upgrade it to 320 GB for far less than $600.
* I can buy a 40 GB model in either Ceramic White or Satin Silver. Colors that are equivalently attractive as this bundle.
* If I buy a console alternative to the bundle, the only things I'm missing out on are: 1.) A BluRay documentary -- which I could probably procure later on. [&] 2.) The soundtrack -- which I can and definitely will obtain later on.

* The website is fucked.

Conclusion: FUCK THIS. I'M NOT GETTING THIS BUNDLE.

This is hands down the stupidest thing I've ever seen.

It's like a go**amn Greek tragedy.

I finally get to my cart, and it's got two of 'em in there. Not in the same field, two separate fields, this time. I try to remove one? SERVICE UNAVAILABLE. I try to change one to zero -- SERVICE UNAVAILABLE.

It's like we're all accessing little parts of the Web site, but none of us has the whole damn site to use.

How in the name of Zeus' butthole are you people getting to the checkout screen?? I can get to the cart, but it times out every time for checkout.
 
yeah, i think the site is down... i was at the checkout stage but it keeps timing out and i can't even get konami.com to come up

well, i don't think this is all konami's fault... when that "service unavailable" page comes up, in the bottom right it says "powered by truition."

when you go to truition.com, their website is down

is this the only time they're going to be selling them? i feel like i read somewhere that they were going to sell a few per day rather than all at once.
