Just to let Canadians know. Even if you can get further you will be denied at the confirmation of shipping page. The webstore is not configured to ship to Canada so if you are ordering from Canada you might as well call it a night and try later.

To anyone still trying: They seem to have reset all the carts, so you might want to close your browser and open it back up before you readd the bundle to your cart.

Also, my AMEX didn't work for some odd reason.

No, it tells me out right that I have to change my address (country code) to US in order to let me proceed. So this is it for me (for now) as it's a technical thing and it doesn't how hard I try I won't get through.

Konami has addressed this issue in the FAQ I was just being wishful that i could somehow slide by this restriction.
 
damn it, i can't believe you guys got through.... i've been trying for the last three hours and i'm no closer now than when i started.

i just closed and restarted the browser, but no luck. i can't even get it back into my cart.

edit: this might've been asked before, but to you guys who got your orders in, do they charge now or when it ships?

I guess I understand the "fan thing".

I actually think it would make more sense if you already own an 80 GB PS3 and want this just for collection purposes (and I assume you have a good job, heh).

I just don't see the logic in spending $100 more bucks on a MUCH inferior product if this is what will be your first ever PS3.

Defo.

I got shut out at the check out yesterday because my country of origin was Canada. Until Konami fixes this issue I will hold on to my Japanese bundle. For me, I prefer the Japanese bundle design (I mean the box. Yes I do care about the box) but I will be forced to buy a copy of NA MGS4. Plus I might have to shell out extra for the soundtrack as the Japanese gunmetal doesn't come with it.

ditto, the price difference aint huge. i'll keep trying to score the NA version but if all else fails, my japanese preorder is still good.

Regarding MGS4 packs in Europe...
Will there be any other ones except 40Gig one? I don't have PS3 and plan on buying one, but all I see here are 40GB ones. I know I'll have to import vibrating controller but I can do it later. So any other deals on PS3 consoles I should look after. I know 40 gig is "butchered" one but it is all I have here :(
