Any ideas on when Dualshock3 will hit EU? Or what is the best place to import it from? Would love to skip all the taxes and such if possible :D

I think not even europeans would pay more for a gimped PS3.
 
I wouldn't completely call it gimped. It does have something that a regular PS3 doesn't have.

Completely new outer casing, featuring a matte gray finish, that has been specially made for this bundle.

Also, I don't completely understand the fascination of people's interest in BC. If you are really a big fan of the current generation of consoles, you should know that 95% of your PS2 games are going to look very unpleasant on a HDTV. So on one hand, you get to play your PS2 library on your 60GB or 80GB or what not, and then you are going to complain about the lack of sharpness and resolution. I say jump in to the next gen and keep your CRT and PS2 for the best of both worlds.

Edit: I would totally get the gun metal bundle if I didn't already have a 60GB unit. £330 is not a bad price at all.

that's not unusual with OSTs that are included with games. it's more like a sampler cuz they'll sell the real OST later on.
 
i'm really not ragging on you guys for getting this, but if nintendo came out with a gold plated Wii that cost $350 and didn't have WiFi mode or something ridiculous for the release of Zelda (which is my favorite series)... good lord. i like videogames and all, but some of you are either rich or... something else other than rich.

Looks like the worst rip-off special edition ever.
 
Finally got one! Although I have to drive 1.5 hrs to pick it up across the border. I just cannot take a chance and wait for Konami to fix their Canadian shipping problem.

I seem to remember you are from Canada. Where are you located? I have my order shipped to Niagara Falls so I will just make a day trip there and pick it up at the mail house. Or maybe call Konami later to change my shipping address when they have their shit figured out.
