Nothing in that tweet corelates to your paragraph in any way. Its basically 99% your own conjecture of what he means when he could mean something completely different.

It's not a perfect analogy, but he basically said the gender equivalent of "asians are good at math". I'm sure people who say that as a blanket statement think it's a compliment but it's as facile as what Michael Moore said.

As I said before, this could be very well be him simply meaning that hey men in power have been responsible for a lot of terrible shit(unquestionably true), give a woman a chance(obvious context is the upcoming election) .

Yeah he may be factually wrong in his statements, but to then then take this all the way to the bank and say he's trying to "erase" women from history is a bit much from such a vague context-less tweet. Again, nothing in that tweet implies that a woman's shit doesn't stink or can't stink . So no, I don't understand the crusade.

From my experience this has been an incredibly popular statement to make. You hear it all the time from comedians, and offhand from people when it comes to talking about women in politics. It's one of those obviously more complicated statements that no one is really called out on. Interestingly enough for once you could look at his mentions and be confused about if he's being criticized by alt-right or far left folks.

Could be an attempt to advocate for the first female President. Not sure. But I can understand the reasoning were it so considering that some of the arguments against a woman President being an inherent inability to govern; men themselves haven't covered themselves in glory. If men with power can wage wars and use nuclear weapons, how could a woman be comparatively worse?

Again, I'm not sure of the context behind the original tweets but I can't imagine Michael Moore suggesting that women are inherently more innocent.

If this was meant to compliment Clinton... meh. She isn't better qualified than the other candidates because she's a woman, she's better qualified because of her intellect and experience. You could talk about her being a woman with regards to women's issues, maybe, because she would indeed be likely to have a fresh perspective, but other things like climate change, foreign policy, etc.? No, shut up Moore, you're out of your element.
