How many Xbox published games support PSVR2?Microsoft seems to support PSVR2 more than Sony itself now.
Man I was super excited for this, but it sucks? What issues did people have?
Or sony saving xbox?Xbox single handily saving psvr2 is hilarious
Winwing is great if you're certain you'll never need any customer support whatsoever for a product that will almost certainly fail lolBTW, winwing launched a crazy setup for MSFS
Don't think I'll ever go that far but its neat as fuck.
Sorry to disappoint, but this game is not saving shit. But at least it should get a high attach rate, that will be something i guess.Xbox single handily saving psvr2 is hilarious
I'll not be getting it until there's a VR releaseWatch them sucker you in for day one and then cancel VR.
If this DLC is confirmed for PS5, I'm in!D1, Jurassic World DLC just dropped and to be able to explore all the islands in VR sounds too good to pass.
Is that a joke?Should work really well with the ps5s SSD tech.
Is that a joke?
You know the game is purely streaming, right?
This is the Aviator edition on Steam on my D: drive..

It's mind boggling that Sony seems to have no plan whatsoever after dropping GT and barely any third party support lined up. VR1 and Vita was not great at their latter halfs either, but at least they had actually tried then.Microsoft seems to support PSVR2 more than Sony itself now.
PSVR2 redeemed!
Yes, 2020 is better, and frankly whats new in 2024 they should have just added to the 2020 version of the game.
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, coming December 8 2025 to Playstation 5.... Lol.Colt and the rats the last few days were like:

PSVR is Shuhei Yoshida's project and very much supported under Yoshida. Jim and Hulst is killing PSVR.It's mind boggling that Sony seems to have no plan whatsoever after dropping GT and barely any third party support lined up. It's been quite a while since I last checked, but VR flight sim channels on youtube regularly aimed for 30-45fps, and enabled Spacewarp (VR's own frame generation thing) to reach 90fps, often claiming that was good enough for Flight Simulators because they're not a fast-paced enough to negatively impact gameplay.GT7 has PSVR2 support? TIL.
Going by Gaffers here, performance (of Flight Sim on Xbox) is 30-60 fps? Are there any sub 60 fps games on PSVR2?
Edit: Clarified Flight Sim, instead of base post which could have meant GT7.

On my 3070 Ti, I have to sacrifice a lot to get playable framerates: Resolution and graphic detail ranging from low to medium at best, and I was okay with that except for one single issue: The cockpit "judders" when looking around while the rest of the world remains smooth, that same problem plagued FS2020 and it's why I never played the VR mode for more than a few hours. I seriously hope that is fixed on the PSVR2 version. I might even buy a PS5 Pro if they do.
On paper 2024 is so much better, including fixing some very annoying bugs in the engine code. No wonder why they aimed for a new release, they had 800 people working on it... But sadly, the developers fucked up the launch and are still trying to crawl back to where they were supposed to be. Everyone was taken by surprise, including the developers.Yes, 2020 is better, and frankly whats new in 2024 they should have just added to the 2020 version of the game.
i mean the PSVR is also an xbox after allMicrosoft seems to support PSVR2 more than Sony itself now.
Remember guys: it's just 4 games....
LOL
UE5 is an amazing engine. All depends on how it's used. How is this misinformation getting around? This is gonna be fire on PS5 Pro (unless it's UE5, please God no).
While some implementations are better than others, I've yet to see a great release without any of the usual issues like traversal stutter.UE5 is an amazing engine. All depends on how it's used. How is this misinformation getting around?
It depends. In some games you hardly notice, games like Assassin's Creed Nexus on Quest 2 use it and you only get artifacts if you move your arms too fast, but that's a game specifically designed to run on Quest 2/Quest 3. on PC things are a lot more YMMV. Lag is definetly noticeable in games like Lies of P where you have to parry, but in Robocop Rogue City or Silent Hill 2 it's perfectly playable.Huh, never knew this VR framegen till now. How the latency and any kind artifacting going in the bg?
I know, but I want a PSVR2 for the exclusives. I won't play Resident Evil Village/RE4 Remake until I can play them in VR, even if it takes me until the PS6 to finally be able to afford them. You're better off selling your 3070 Ti and buying a 5080 super in Jan, than a PS5 Pro for just a little more money imo.
FS functions completely different. FS 2020 took up roughly 200+ GB not counting the new airport anouncements and contents. 2024 is the size of a PS3 game and no, it doesnt store cache of 100s of GB anywhere, its mostly streaming from zero each time. Which is exactly why it had a terrible launch because the servers were overloaded and the whole game is on the cloud so nothing worked. Also you cant compare a simple streaming game storing small cache files with FS which is literally the whole damn world. The game stores streamed data to your hard drive as a cache as it goes. Most streaming games do that . It's does not get just the things you can see around you that would never be fast enough with today's internet.
MSFS 2024 Beta test on Ps5 pro. It looks good.
I'm going to guess that the PSVR 2 update will be released Spring/Summer 2026. I'd love to be wrong, but I suspect it'll need a lot of play testing to get it running well, especially on base PS5.Have they said when they'll be adding PVSR2 support? Is it not coming to the beta?
Most can't be 'fixed' because they were server side capacity issues. They won't be a real issue except maybe at launch. Were the issues that plagued the launch ever fixed?
I'm so excited about this game especially the PSVR2 mode soon. I can finally remove the dust of my PSVR2.Those that received the beta code seem to be having a good time, so it's looking promising.
Me too. Not sure I fancy a red bull race in VR though.I'm so excited about this game especially the PSVR2 mode soon. I can finally remove the dust of my PSVR2.
And I'm also excited about the Redbull plane race, Beluga cargo mission, and fighting forest fire in MSFS 2024.
the PS5 version of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 stands tall alongside the Xbox and PC versions. It delivers a decently optimized experience that remains faithful to Asobo's vision.
Despite a few minor differences in texture loading and world streaming responsiveness, the game offers a near-identical level of fidelity - making it another successful port of a previously Xbox exclusive to Sony's platform
