Coors lights have that wide mouth so you can pound one in about 10 seconds.

People drink beer out of cans?

People in here are shitting on Rum and Cokes?

I challenge any Gaffer to a beer speed drink off.

There are a lot of good quality craft beers that come in cans. It's not all macro brews.

Sorry, Karbach, a local brewery here in Houston, only sells in cans. They started commercial brewing just last year, and I support local beer.

You criticise beer in cans in one sentence and then defend rum and coke in another? That's like saying one Kardashian is the classy one.

For the record I must state that I sometimes drink beer from cans.

I love all alcohol. Elitists will never enjoy their alcohol as much as we do.

Disclaimer: Miller Lite is piss, not alcohol.

If I want cheap beer I go down to the place in my city that does 3 dollar PBR tallboys.

They take a can opener and make a massive hole for you.

Nothing wrong with cans, just what is generally in most. That said, good beer that is canned should still be poured into a glass.

This is true - I remember reading an article in a tech/science magazine about how cans were unfairly stigmatized for their association with cheap macro lagers, when they're actually a better container than bottles in many cases. It turns out the epoxy used to coat the inside of good quality cans has less potential to affect the flavor of the beer than glass.

They should just put another pull-tab on the side of the beer for shotgunning without a screwdriver.

It's always been thought that cans impart a metallic taste, which is particularly problematic for microbrews. I'm not well read on the science, but there's been a resurgence in canning among microbreweries in the US so either they got around it o the science was just bunk in the first place.

You're not supposed to drink microbrew directly out of the can, dude.

All the beer snobs in here, I used to be the same way. Being broke all the time has changed that. It is now about quantity not quality.

Thank you. My comment was directed at their lol PR about tasting the pilsner quality from the can. Hell I pour my beer from a bottle into a glass when I can.

I don't really understand people shitting on other people's preference on Alcohol. There is a difference between commenting on the fact that people drink in an unoptimum fashion and shitting on a person's preference on drinks.

Eh, it's not bad beer. I'm usually a Sam Adams or Fat Tire person myself. I don't think I need a mechanism to drink it faster though.

You guys watch transformers? Move up to Tree of Life.

You play fps'? Move up to RPGs!

You read Twilight? You're supposed to be reading Song of Fire and Ice.

The worse beers are those XXX CAMO SUPER SHIT beers you get mega cans of for like 2 bucks.

Some beer aficionados prefer cans these days. Something to do with light staying out. I don't care, personally, because I like the feel of the cold glass on my lips mmmmmmmm...

I only drink beer from cans when working on furniture or electronics, and in those cases, I consider it mandatory.

Miller Light is pretty decent. Best light beer that I've had, at least. Its great for bringing out to a BBQ, the beach, or when having people over or something. Basically anytime that you are trying to contribute to the alcohol available without spending a ton of money and also not resorting to really crap beer like Naty or Coors or what have you.

This or the vortex bottle? Hard to determine which is a more pointless marketing gimmick.

Am I the only one that thinks the order of 'shit beer' goes like this:

Bud/Miller/Coors

I think that's probably something I agree with. They're all shit, but I'd probably rather have Bud(weiser) first, Miller (High Life... or Miller Light who even cares) as a second choice, and ugh, finally Coors.
