1. Go to the gallery/folder with pictures you want to move and press the "select items"-button
2. Select the items you want to move (or delete) and press the "Actions"-button
3. Select the gallery you want to move them to (or give the name of the new gallery) and press ok/create
(click step for picture)

Terrible difficult I agree. No wonder no one seem to know about it.

Oh and "pro-tip". Don't upload from your profile-page (http://USERNAME.minus.com/), upload from your "my uploads" page. (http://USERNAME.minus.com/uploads/all) It will then automatically make a folder/gallery for the files you upload.

Yes the interface is a bit shit, but it's honestly one of the best image hosts I've used till now.
 
Minus has alot of issues at the moment, I use abload.de for almost all my sports gifs, but I like to store a few of them and other non sports related gifs on minus, I have literally thousands of gifs spread over a few accounts, I hope they don't shut down.

I can move pictures from folders ("gallery") to folder, yes, but I can't move them from the profile to a folder.

It never creates a new gallery automatically anymore.

- If you upload two or more pictures, it'll ask you if you want to upload them into an existing gallery or if you want to create a new one.
- If you upload only one picture, it'll automatically upload it to the profile page.

Maybe my account is broken, but that's how it currently works.

What. The. Shit!? When did they change THAT? It was working perfectly a few days ago for me.
 
So wait how do I get stuff that is already uploaded and not in folders into folders?

Is such a thing possible?

It's so that your feed will show in their homepage.

I've got 100 followers. Don't know how though. Also, my feed is filled with Chloe Moretz pictures. I must follow a stalker of her or something.
 
They took away privacy setting, I hate having followers as well, I mean I just want all my content private like before but you cant do that.

They are trying to build a social network image site, its really bad now.

It would be nice if Minus had statistics similar to YouTube. This GIF I made has racked up 82,000 views, I'm curious as to how it spread around the net in order to get that many views.

What the hell just happened to the site. The android app was updated and it's getting consistant 1 star reviews. Didn't update because of that. The website has changed too. It's becoming a social network site or something.

Worst part is, view counts are no longer tracked... What? That was my favourite feature!

What the hell is happening? Minus was pretty much the best upload site out there for my needs pretty early on. I haven't liked any of the recent changes to the site, and the sad thing is I don't know any alternatives =(
 
Just when I had gotten used to their new stupid upload system...

The lower amount of supported file types, the automatically making public of uploads when you drag it to the homepage, the more social focus and the file size limit make me really want to quit the site. Don't know if there is an easy alternative though. I'll probably use Dropbox a combination of Dropbox and imgur or something.

Clicking on your name or typing 'username'.minus.com takes minutes now?

And the removal of view tracking is so dumb. It was a an indicator as to what I should upload and what I shouldn't be uploading for the people following me.
 
Been getting worse and worse ever since launch, a shame, they used to listen quite a lot but now it seems like they want to make yet another social network.

Yeah it is really sad to see it in its current state, by the end of the year I bet we have 5mb file limits also.

I would rather pay a small amount to have it like it was when it released.
 
So I started to receive messages from unknown people on the Minus android app.

I guess their business model is transitioning away from being an image hoster to the social mobile space. Taking pictures, whacking a filter on and uploading them, using GPS to view people and their profile nearby you and messaging are stuff I don't care about. I don't want my stuff public, I just wanna store stuff privately and view it. If this is where min.us is headed then *sigh*
 
I think they're trying to become like an image version of Pinterest? Like Pinterest + Imgur + Deviantart + Flickr thing.

Man the old iOS app has been removed from the app store (https://itunes.apple.com/app/minus/id425091149?mt=8) and replaced with that social networking bullshit app (https://itunes.apple.com/app/minus/id585660589?ls=1&mt=8).

I hope you kept local copies of your app. The new one is some horrific location-based version of Instagram and it doesn't connect to your existing photo albums on the site, it just has a photos timeline/wall just like Instagram.

They've also filled their appstore page with tons of shill 5 star reviews:

guess i'm glad i primarily use imgur... at least it's keeping its focus straight. just wish it didn't modify the images you upload.
 
I was just getting used to making new folders and getting around the site jank and now the site's just gotten worse. Sweet jesus talk about photobucket bloat approaching. I just want a site to upload my damn pictures to privately, not a site that geotracks whenever I upload a photo off my phone and then spams my friends with it and tries to be its own social network fuck you that's not what you're there for.

Go home, Minus. You're drunk. Fuck.

My god, you cannot upload with the new app unless you turn on location services. Way to go Minus.

The old iOS app still works as normal however, and it shows your image views which is nowhere to be seen on the website any more. Hah
 
Ok, some of the post are scaring me. Is the site going down? I have a shit load of stuff on there. Should I start saving it to my computer?
 
Well, I'll be using imgur unless they decide to fix what they've done. I hate how i can't even see my photos from my phone anymore

Ugh I hope not. My gifs are all too big for the other hosting sites out there.

If Minus would keep its old format/rules and make me pay 20$ a year for unlimited storage I would :(
 
Did they change something recently? It seems it is not possible to create an account anymore from the website. -.- Clicking on “Create Account” always redirects to http://minus.com/app which is no more than an ad for the minus iOS/Android apps. What am I supposed to do?

Is there any better host (preferably without social bullshit), that isn't abload.de (can't understand German) and doesn't recompress images (i.e. not imgur…)?
 
The problem with min.us is that large .gifs and images take FOR FUCKING EVER to load due to the fact that they're so huge even on a fast connection.

Even if you don't understand German, abload is easy to use.

I think Google Translate could help translate the page for you if you need to.
