Chuck Liddell looked the best he ever looked going into the Franklin fight, nevar forget.

not really the same thing, not even close, because chuck was violently KO'd like 3 or 4 fights in a row before the franklin fight.

you can compare the end of Chuck with CroCop and Wandy.

Fedor got embarrassed by Bigfoot, his face turned into one of the California fucking Raisins. and Bigfoot just had his way with Fedor the whole time except for a hail mary submission attempt or two.

but back to the subject at hand.

WHEN RASHAD HITS THE OCTAGON HE BE DOIN DA STANKY LEGG

Machida via Seagal kick KO. Rashad drops to Middleweight after getting stanky leg'd again and being kicked off the title shot ladder.

Updated tally:

4) UFC 131 - Lesnar vs. Dos Santos

I just...have absolutely no interest in Rashad vs Lyoto 2. Does that make me a tuf noob?
just means you don't enjoy seeing rashad getting KO'd and clowned.

i never really watched tuf until season 10 myself, only real MMA I watched was the occasional PRIDE event on DVD back in the day.. didn't really get that much into post-dark ages/Zuffa UFC until around the time Lesnar vs. Herring happened.

And I can't fucking wait for this shit.

I don't think the first fight left anything to question to justify a rematch, but it's a much better fight then I thought they'd put on as a late replacement.

Granted, you all know I'm a delusional Tito mark but I think that's a much more interesting fight than Lyoto and Rashad.

Coming off of a 6 year losing skid to get a single win does not earn you a shot against a top 3 contender.

Think Rashad has improved since that Lyoto defeat. Can Machida handle the cage barnacle attack? I hope so.
I think he's dramatically worse and will never be the same again. Thiago Silva should be ashamed that he was unable to KO him in the third round. Other than being sick of seeing Evans > Machida in everyone's rankings, I have no desire to see this one again.

Davis did an interview a few weeks after the Little Nog fight, saying he was injured and didn't want to come back until late 2011. Then suddenly he was taking the Rashad fight - seemed fishy back then and I guess I was right to be skeptical.

Toquinho no longer has an opponent for 134, since Cacareco wouldn't sign the contract then got released. Weird.

well the first lyoto and rashad fight was about as much of a one sided beat down you'll get in the ufc, so i don't really have any interest in seeing them fight again.

i'd prefer tito/rashad too. tito won their first match up. and if tito some how managed to win again, that would totally kill rashad's title aspirations. so its a win/win.

I cant think of a better matchup for Rashad. This is what he gets for taking years off playing and safe and waiting for a belt. Not to mention I have zero respect for him holding the belt again unless he somewhat avenges that horrible loss. Even if he doesn't win, just puts up a fight showing he deserves the belt.

And honestly I think he would fair better a second time around. Machida had the whole undefeated, "Machida Era" mystique around him before. Now he has two back to back loses. Shows hes not invincible.

Wow.. Dana offered it to Tito :S

I don't know if I'm happy or confused that Tito rejected it. On the one hand, there is no way in hell he deserves the fight against Rashad.. Yet..

On the other, this is a rare opportunity to rocket back to title contention in a mere two wins (if he would have beaten Rashad). If he loses his next fight against whoever, he very well may never get another chance, whereas if he lost to Evans it wouldn't have been a surprise and he wouldn't be downgraded too harshly.

well crocop should be able to keep it standing against big country. i imagine his TDD is still pretty good. would be nice if he could get a win instead of getting knocked out again at the end of the 3rd round as has been the trend lately. LHK CEMETERY!

I just want to see one last LHK knockout. Come on Crocop, you can doooo eeeet! He probably won't. Big Country is too tough and durable. At least one where he puts him on his ass.
