Windu

never heard about the cat, apparently
Ah shit. Harper just took a horrible spill. Just like Adam Eaton. Fuuuuck.
It's been raining all day. No surprise he slipped on the bag. Should've called the game.
Rip Nationals. Heard they had to carry Harper off. 😔
Very similar to Eaton. That slip and fall was nasty.
Wow, that was a pretty bad fall. I hope he is ok.
just saw that harper play oh my god no :(
Yeah saw Eaton live and it looked like a mirror image of it.

At this point you pray it's just not career altering. Forget this year.
Yikes, that Harper play did not look good.

Luis Severino, Sean Manaea, and Jose Berrios. Not good today. Thinking later two are drop-able. No strikeouts. Is Manaea dealing with velocity + control issues? Berrios has been inconsistent.

Rhys Hoskins still doesn't have a hit in the big leagues.

Paul DeJong is somehow still hitting well even though Fangraphs keeps pushing the sell narrative. SS is such a crappy position this year compared to last year. Tim Beckham is a trendy pickup.

Seems like hitters who suffer from oblique injuries lose HR ability. See Chris Davis and Mitch Haniger.

What's wrong with the Astros recently?

Possible good news if Harper's injury was only a hyper extension.

Bryce Harper is up and walking around without much of a limp. Had his leg wrapped below the knee but no brace or anything.

Why did the Rockies call up their #3 prospect just to have him sit on the bench? Wouldn't you want to give him the most at bats so he could develop further? Or give him more time on the field to further develop his fielding?

Chuck

Still without luck
Tim Beckham has the same WAR (1.3) with the Orioles in 12 games that he had in 87 games with Rays this year. He's hitting 531 and has an OPS of almost 1500 with the O's.

This was a good trade 👌

Bryce Harper has a significant bone bruise in his knee but no ligament or tendon tears, Rizzo says. Nats optimistic he'll play this season

He's in the lineup today.

For some reason, a number of teams do this. Usually a player is blocking play time, but manager wants to move people around.

Guess that also means David Dahl won't play this year.
