JT Snow and Darren Baker, 12 years later:

Wow. I had completely forgotten about that moment. Time flies!

For anyone else that forgot:

Classic.

Went to the final regular season Sporting KC game last night instead of watching the WS. Sounds like I didn't miss much. Bummer wrecked us again. That guy is nails. Incredible.

I wonder why Fox didn't bother showing any of the Robin Williams pre-game tribute stuff, at least his kids throwing out the first pitch to Billy Crystal.

the Oscar Tavares stuff is just sad. Not only that, but there is always something eerie to me when athletes or artists (musicians/actors) are cut down far before they even have a chance to hit their prime.

Peavy, who had a muscle torn off the back of his shoulder four years ago and once pitched after slicing his hand while opening a can of cat food, is not about to let a swollen thumb get in the way of bringing home the Giants' their third title in five years.

What is with this dude? Lol.

It's pretty big news if the Giants have to go to their pen early with a game 7 potentially looming.

Petit and Lincecum can eat up a lot of middle innings if Peavy goes out early. All-hands on deck for game 7 regardless.

Bumgarner says he can do an inning of relief if needed today, but I'm guessing Bochy would rather save him for Game 7 since that would be his bullpen throw day anyway.

I'm sure he'll pitch, the concern is how effective he will be. Peavy historically already sorta sucks in the playoffs so an injury on top of that can't be good.

I wonder if Butler will have any rust, he's had only 1 at-bat in the last 5 days counting travel days.
Possible, but doubtful. If anything he's likely just getting anxious to get out there and play. He hates sitting on the bench. If it were up to him, he'd be playing first base every night.

godddd i hope my professor lets us out as soon as possible tonight. he's a huge Royals fan and was at the '85 series yada yada yada pls kind and merciful professor pls

You could see his soul evaporate when he got struck out in that one at-bat

I think mainly he was pissed at how far outside the called strike three was. That same location was called a ball twice on the very next batter. Not that it really mattered to the outcome.
