Dan Uggla was released by the braves mid season after being one of the worst players in MLB the last 3 or so years. The giants picked him up and had him on their roster for a day or two. If the giants win, he gets a WS ring.

What would pitching for part of the game really do to his longevity and career? Hes the best asset the Giants got. If they get a decent lead they should put him in for atleast 2 innings.

well he threw 9 innings on sunday, its not unheard of for a pitcher to pitch on three days rest but after throwing 9 innings i doubt the dude could have gone very long, they might bring him out for some relief work
