We should rent a BadMMA bus and drive around the US for a week going to a new shit MMA event each night. Then charge BadMMA fans for the package like it's a tour of Americana.

That's good to know, we we all SO worried about Brendan Schaub's KNEE.

The best comment that I read about this knockout was on sherdog.

"You could literally see Schaub try and and stop his soul from leaving his body."

Weird but not complaining. I guess Poirier/TKZ for #1 contender. Where is Alcantara in all of this?

I'm pretty sure UFC wanted to give Poirier the shot, but he said he prefers a couple more fights to polish his game more. Hioki said the same thing too.

While i feel Koch still needed to rack up a few more wins, I feel if the rumors are true, his fight with Aldo will be a scrap. And I think he has some decent odds in that fight IMO.

OK I have new respect for Jay Glazer, I'm cracking up reading this on Sherdog hahaha:

Jay Glazer on Dan Patrick Show: Pranked Chuck Liddell
I was listening to the Dan Patrick show today and Jay Glazer was on. He said that he was with Chuck and had to keep his cell phone for him the other day and pranked him. Said he texted Randy Couture with Chucks phone and said, "Randy, I have been embarrased to mention this to you for years but just wanted to let you know that I took a Viagra before our second match. I really wanted to take our relationship to another level."
Said Randy texted back with a WTF type reaction.
Pretty funny he had the nerve to do that to those two!

LOL

From Sherdog:

A biography of Anderson was published today (I haven`t read it yet), including many interesting facts:

1) In a moment of financial difficulties, Anderson was making a living teaching classes at Chute Boxe. Rafael Cordeiro didn`t want him to continue. They had an argument and Cordeiro slapped him. Anderson and a couple friends stayed outside the gym with a gun in his hand, but controlled himself and gave up. They are friends nowadays, but Cordeiro didn`t know about that;

2) The book has a picture of Anderson holding his dead daughter, a tragedy for which he blamed himself for a long time (circumstances are not mentioned in the sources)

3) During the fight against Sonnen, Anderson remembered the times of Chute Boxe, some people he doesn`t like anymore. He remembered their "never give up" mentality and thought about the training with Wanderlei. "If I endured the training with Wanderlei in his prime in PRIDE, with him kicking and stomping me, how am I not gonna endure Sonnen?" (my translation)

The book was written by Eduardo Ohata, who claims he didn`t like Anderson and started the book as a critic, because he wanted to know how AS justified some of the attitudes he had. Eduardo says he has a different view of him now.

Fixed, brah.

I would love to read a translated version of this biography to discover if it confirms my belief that Anderson is somewhat off, mentally. Currently, all signs point to yes. Chael has plenty of experience in fighting deranged Brazilians for middleweight titles so it will be interesting to see if lightning strikes twice.

http://bjpenn.com/mmanews/2012/04/25/king-mo-i-think-i-can-beat-jon-jones-ufc-news-21692.html

King Mo was recently on TapOut Radio to share his thoughts on the Jones/Evans fight: “Jones used his reach good. Jones did his thing, keeping it at bay. Rashad fought a good 1st, 2nd and the first part of the 3rd round when he came moving forward. He was just getting outworked and out pointed. It’s not like Jon went out there and brutalized him and raped him. Everybody’s trying to make it seem like that. Jones went out there and got the victory. Jones fought smart and outworked him. It wasn’t like he was throwing sonic booms and hittin’ him with E. Honda punches. He was just out there being Jon Jones and outpointing him.”

King Mo was asked if Jon Jones defeats his next scheduled opponent Dan Henderson, who else would he select to Fight Jon and beat him at light heavyweight.

“Shit, me. I think I can beat him… I’d like to see Rashad get back in there with him with a few adjustments.”

He thought that Mir facing Do Santos is a “good kung-fu story line.” His reason being that “Frank Mir defeated his mentor twice. It’s time for Dos Santos to get the big payback.”

But I am neither smart nor nerdy enough to even contemplate playing something like that. I looked at the screens and my head hurt, then I felt the overwhelming urge to bully someone.

how does GSP manage 800k ppv buys?

no charisma or mic skills either

Except he totally has charisma and mic skills. That's why, now Brock has left, he is now the biggest PPV draw in the company.
People think being great on the mic is just trash talking and playing heel. GSP is maybe the only guy in the UFC who properly understands how to be a face. His appearence on the Conduit/Diaz prime time was an example of that, he knows exactly what he should be saying.

Dave Meltzer was saying a few months back how out of all the guys in the UFC GSP is probably the most like a pro wrestling character.

love on your sleeve
GSP is the ultimate face and like typical internet smarks, MMA-GAF favors the heel. Brilliant!

Yeah way better gatekeeper than Kongo. They should fight for the gatekeeper title.
I'm not sure Dana is ready to create an Intercontinental Championship belt for Smackdown UFC on FX.

we should develop an MMA themed collectable card game. Imagine how valuable the TRT card would be.
Will we be allowed to insert possibly appropriate cards from other games? I have some extra Black Luster Soldiers that were banned. I will happily sacrifice both Nick Diaz and Scott Jorgensen to summon him.

Alistair Overeem lands 10 knees on Brendan Schaub. Brendan Schaub is legit killed. Draw a sponsorship card.

You drew Blowout Cards. Game over.

I would play this game.
