Moore predicts PC gaming Renaissance

He said that Vista would drive PC upgrades which would help game sales, and gave an impressive demonstration of how Vista improves the gaming experience through better file organization.
Spurring on a PC Gaming Renaisance through improving game experience with "better file organization"??? Moore is so a pc gaming Michelangelo, and file organization is his paintbrush.

:lol "drive PC upgrades" indeed.

My Pentium D system can scrape by to run Vista with no major upgrades.

MS can shove it up their ass, though. I'll run Gnu Linux before I run a machine that is so laden with DRM.

Oh, and the CableCard support will only run on turnkey systems. No self-installs, no white boxes.

iirc most of the DRM technologies have been shifted onto the next platform. Some still exist (obviously) but afaik it's not as bad as it was originally going to be

PC gaming isn't expensive when you consider the fact that you end up buying less games. I mean, I love console gaming just as much, but to get the same amount of enjoyment and gametime I get from playing nothing but Warcraft 3 and BF2, I have to spend a shitload on the console side.
