Most absurdly overpowered superhero?

Spider-Man's new sidekick Alpha is pretty op. He power draws from the universe itself and will basically keep growing with no upper limit (assuming he sticks around past his debut arc lol)

Really Marvel??

why not not jsut team Peter with Franklin Richards?

Aizen's mere presence kills people, he has a sword that warps senses, flash steps (the same dbz nonsense), bankai, and ll 99 magic without the need for incantations. Raditz would die ten times over. lol. Saiyans are written dumb as bricks and would let him set up the deep troll.

In terms of heroes from games:

-Bayonetta

-DMC 2 Dante: He's killing gods and damn near gdlk by the end.

-Firebrand: He was really broken at the end of his game. Might not fit the hero definition though.

-Viewtiful Joe: Pretty sure he was on some god tier nonsense at the end of his game. Controlling time and all that jazz.

edit: How broken would JoJo be if he had actually practiced timestop, like Dio was? lol

which jojo? jotaro?

The SMT series would get pretty far.

Also Demonbane is technically a video game and would destroy 99.9% of the things mentioned in this thread.

i dont know about destroy, but he would definetely be fighting in the celestial class.

So I can think of a dozen other characters with powers that are even more broken than this guy, but I want to talk about him anyway because he's cool. Kumagawa has the power to make anything become nothing. The panel I posted basically shows him removing someones vision but he can do a lot more. Remove injuries, make attacks that happened into nothing, nullify powers and abilities... hell he can even cheat death.

He claims that if he isn't careful, he can make the world itself into nothing.

B)

so who would win in a fight, adult franklin richards or the plutonian after he met his parents?

he leashed galactus. it shouldnt be a question. i think the only one who would probably be able to beat franklin that is a mortal is his son hyperstorm

uhh didnt Reed set him up and get Galactus to capture him? I know i have that comic somewhere. But isnt Franklin like on the level of galactus and the celestials maybe even eternity?

so, like the ultimate nullifier, but smaller scale?

Adult franklin outclasses all three by quite a big margin.

Kumagawa can erase concepts and ideas actually. Example, he can bring people back to life by making their death become "nothing".

The nullifier has done this as well, on a multi-universal scale. It's quite the interesting little plot device. Abstract concepts (love, hate, death, infinity, eternity, chaos, order, etc) also have physical form in the MU, and can also potentially be "wiped out" by the nullifier.

Why post him when Medaka Box has the most powerful character ever created?

he'll have a child with one. that has the psionics, and reality warping powers of his parents.

yeah but Reed Richards outwits that child and Galactus uses him as a self sustaining battery. So Franklin's got to be the most powerful. Unless the Phoenix Force can fuck him up, but if he's supposedly way more powerful than Eternity ...then i doubt it heavily.

Both Marvel and DC have a serious problem with taking joke characters seriously.

I mean, when Squirrel Girl beat Dr. Doom, they had a character say basically "this is not a joke, but it should be. But it isn't. But it should be".

Hell, there's a character in the JLA called Frankie who dresses in all green, a witches hat, and controls toranadoes.

The phoenix force isn't the top of the cosmic food chain. It's powerful, but AvX has established that the power of the Iron Fist (or at least the mature Dragon of K'un Lun) is it's equal, and has repelled the phoenix before.

It also looks like
hope summers using the power of the iron fist and wanda's chaos magic
is as strong or stronger.

This isn't anywhere NEAR the tier that celestials, galactus, etc usually operate on.

I was going to introduce eventually :)

Yeah she has 4 quadrillion skills and can break through the 4th wall.

BROKEN.

It's a device though... right? Yeah i'll admit that Kumagawa is nowhere near as powerful (All Fiction has FAILED in some instances) but at least he's a human being.

Yes and no. The nullifier is an aspect of galactus. It's part of him, though in a separate form for some reason.

He's immortal and has the ability to warp your senses the second you see his sword. We never even got to see his bankai. He can definitely kill most anime characters given enough time. What would goku do to him? he's immortal

He only got defeated because he wanted to
thz for spoiling bleach for me

The Silver Surfer thing is pretty stupid. He just surfs the planet and it... dies?

Also very cheap superpowers which are beyond super strenght (Superman, Hulk etc).

Where on earth did you get that idea? Surfing the planet to kill it?

"Sweet waves on this planet bro...such a shame it's gotta die and all.."

Considering Dragon Ball characters take about 14 episodes of charge up time to do the kind of overpowered damage I see mentioned in this thread, I don't think they qualify. There are characters in comic books who can blink entire realities out of existence. Before Goku can say "Kamahameha," pretty much anybody with the Infinity Gems would have Goku's head up his own ass with his hands and feet down his throat.

Hell, even Hellsing's Alurcard could easily dispatch the entire cast of DBZ/GT while taking an afternoon nap. Just look at his abilities.

Trailer8l.png

Immortality
Invulnerability
Advanced Regeneration
Superhuman senses
Superhuman speed
Superhuman strength
Intangibility
Defiance/manipulation of gravity
Shapeshifting
Teleportation
Telepathy
Hypnosis
Sharpshooting skills
Summons of familiars
Creation of fledgelings
Advanced Combat
Memory absorption (through victims' blood)
High resistance to most vampire weaknesses
(with Schrodinger's powers) Can spontaneously appear and disappear at will
Unable to be killed as long as he wills it

No fucking contest.

Can Alucard destroy a planet? No? Then he's not anywhere close to early DBZ let alone GT which is practically galaxy level.

who would count gt? that series didnt make sense in the confines of itself. as for alucard, i wouldnt sleep on him. he could do quite a bit of damage. i dont know the tops of his powers, but hes not low end.

Why would Alucard need to destroy a planet to kill some of the DBZ crew? How is the DBZ crew (especially early on in the series) going to kill something that isn't going to die, unless he wants to?

Alucard is way broken.

The-One-Above-All would absolutely annihilate him, no contest. It's the most powerful fictional character...ever. Period.

Well, yeah, because The-One-Above-All is God. As God He can probably rewrite reality on a whim, but doesn't happen to be very whimsical. Barely even tried to stop Peter from selling his marriage to the Devil.

Two of my favorites:

Jean Grey was just a nice little girl from New York. Then she repaired a neutron galaxy. Then she ate a star. Then she saved the universe and was informed that that was something of a regular job for her. As the White Phoenix of the Crown she can rearrange matter into whatever she so desires, alter the history of timelines, tap into the Phoenix' power to expand her already powerful psychic powers, open stargates taking her from one end of the universe to the other, devour stars, connect someone's consciousness to the vastness of the universe (thereby destroying their mind), heal, rise from the dead, and probably a whole bunch more. While not limitless, the Phoenix is probably leagues ahead of most other mutants. It tends to be that Jean's failings as the Phoenix are done willingly as she holds the Phoenix back.

Also:Franklin Richards Is God.

When you reach a certain level of power, flexing your muscles by destroying planets is superfluous at best. Alucard is as close to a God-tier character as you can get without being actual God-tier.

And, like I said, who cares if you can destroy entire planets if it takes you half a season to power up the damn attack? Nobody's going to realistically wait around for Vegeta to power up his Final Flash or Goku's Spirit Bomb.

Dr.Strange could destroy him with the Mortesi formula.

This thread is a decent example of why I got out of comic books as a child, I just couldn't relate to some of the characters and their insane powers.

And I agree with everyone that Dragon Ball Z characters are ridiculous. Vegeta can destroy a planet the first time he comes to Earth, and they reach many millions more levels later than that, especially in GT. Destroying entire Solar Systems and Galaxies wouldn't be out of their reach at all.
