I just love the variety of environments and the details within them in Mario Kart 8. Ribbon road and electrodrome are definitely up there in terms of the best. I would also like to throw in wild woods, as that is my favourite track in the entire game (the music, the setting, everything about it is so good).

Big Blue

Both F-Zero tracks are really spectacular, and probably the best tracks in the game. I also adore Cloudtop Cruise.

I really like Wild Woods. I mean you start the race going up a giant tree! What's not to love? I also like the song a lot.

Ribbon Road, SNES Rainbow Road, Rainbow Road 64 and Mario Circuit GBA all have a sense of scale and place that make me love the hell out of them every time I play on them. The gorgeous lighting in game is also at its best in these stages.

Okay okay this thread convinced me I'll dump my Mario Kart 8 disk next and try it in Cemu!

And honestly I can't decide what the best track is really, maybe Rainbow Road 64 or the ShyGuy forest level or Big Blue? They are all amazing! Dolphin Shoals takes the credit for best music though

Mount Wario hands down. Although I have to say all of the tracks are gorgeous. MK8 best purchase on Wii U.
