Yeeeep. I'm hoping BF really does lower the points by as much as I think it will...I mean from thursday at 9pm to saturday 2am next week they'll be giving out 870 Xbox ones and a lot of them during the middle of the night. I'm hoping staying up will help.
 
Thanks to another gift (much thanks, Brian Fellows) and some dumpster diving, I just passed 40k. Crossing fingers for a drop in auction prices this week.

Get a target auction code if you can they haven't been that much. Watch the auctions closely and bid at last second I've seen a few end last night at 48k. If you go on slickdeals.net there's a few people selling points also if you're all tired out of buying dew etc.
 
Holy crap... I thought I would check in on the front lines to see how you guys were holding up. This is insanity, has it pretty much held at a constant 2k a day rise.

Seems like it. I won mine at 48k, if I had finished everything by the time you entered I would've saved myself a ton of pts.
 
Whoa..just ran into this thread. This looks like a sweet way to score an Xbox ONE. Just a quick question..

If I go to slick deals, and just purchase 45k points for like $300..can I just bid tonight and get a Xbox ONE? Is it that simple?

Something like that though auctions are hitting 50k now, 48k minimum may get you a win.
 
Tonight is nuts. there's a regular auction about to go for 71k. I decided to hit ebay and bought 10,000 points...only at like 48k it's not gonna be enough tonight but I THINK I'm set for BF? maybe push myself to 50 in the mean time.

Edit: If I do win, I'm going to try and help a Gaffer out, it's dangerous to go alone.

Watch the last ones they may stay below 48, also try to get in a target auction they are a little less.

Hmm are Target Auctions codes supposed to be on the displays at Targets? Haven't seen any at the 2 I checked but I'll try around again and another one.

65-cent Mountain Dew at CVS starts tomorrow. That's only going to make prices skyrocket higher.
 
hnnn. Ok I'll probably only be 4000 off tonight. I'm tempted to just go in and buy 4000 points off someone. Anyone here willing to oblige?

Unfortunately I don't have a car. I'm a student, so everything's on campus and I never really need a car. Trips of a few miles are done on my bicycle. Either way I'm like probably around 1000 points away from winning and I have a doritos code that needs a mountain dew so (and I still feel a little sell-outish about this) I would really appreciate anyone's generousity.

If you need 1000 points to WIN TONIGHT I can give you codes, but it wouldn't be generosity. You'd have to give me 1000 points worth of codes in the next few days. I've won the auctions but I'm still working on building points for the marketplace.

Did you get the Ryse package?

I did too, though that was before the pretty scathing reviews came out. Even then I guess I don't mind too much. I'd almost rather have a "risky" game for free than a good one -- if that makes any sense.

I actually got the Forza one. I was honestly ok with any of them: I'm just happy to have the thing and I'll probably pick up DR3 when I get it.
 
Good to hear more people winning. I did have points to give out but my account is bugged showed up this morning with 91k points and can't do anything.

Well congratulations either way. It felt so good to just be done with it once I finally won an auction. I can't believe I'm actually about to dive back into all that nonsense trying to get a PAX pass. It's somewhat safer since the price will never rise, but I'm starting to worry that they might sell out of them by the time I get another 25K points together. I'm worried that if people don't get their Black Friday win they will flip out and just start buying everything on the Marketplace in hopes of re-selling it.

So if you happen to have any freebie points or see any bottlecaps lying around campus, send some codes my way :)
 
I powered through for my niece and I won last night. I was hoping to win Forza as the other two games are not really appropriate for her but I ended up winning Ryse. I hope it gets delivered before Xmas.

Any extra points I get this week, I will donate to this thread.
 
Check the quote for two 100pt Mountain Dew codes. I mistyped them to Jamix earlier with some others, but he ended up winning before I could get back to him, so these should work fine:
