Sucker Punch had a bit with a dragon.

The movie is indescribably awful though, don't watch it.

There was a CG animated TV show I caught periodically some years ago. The setting was a small medieval castle where a red headed girl was training to be a knight and befriended a green dragon who seemed to be the last of his kind. I can not for the life of me remember the name of this show, but I thought it was pretty good. Any help?

The Hobbit

Featuring the most iconic of all dragons in literature and mythos apart from Fafnir of the Volsunga Saga.

The Golden, the Impenetrable, the Magnificent, the Great, the Tremendous, the Chiefest and Greatest of Calamities.

Jane and the Dragon?

I was actually wondering this question myself lately. You'd think there would be a lot more great movies with dragons! Some great replies in here though

Are there any TV-Series worth checking out with dragons also? I'm not familiar with much of TV as I don't get many channels :S

game of thrones lol

I remember a movie I loved as a child where the dragon is hatched from an egg and is getting bigger and bigger throughout the movie. I just can't remember the name. Anybody know which film I mean?

Sorry for ressurecting this thread but it just occurs to me you COULD be reffering to the Dutch animation masterpiece 'Als je begrijpt wat ik bedoel', that translates into 'If you know what I mean'.

Actually it is based on the graphic novels of Marten Toonder. He was probably the most successful comic artist in the Netherlands and had a great influence in the Dutch language by introducing new words and expressions.

In supplement to my previous reply, could you possibly mean this egg?

It later turns to this:

But also this:

As you now probably will understand, this animation is a real tear-jerker but also a masterpiece. Go watch it, GAF! (btw if this is not allowed, please don't ban me but let me know and I will remove the link)

This thread is piquing my interest way more than I thought it would. Might have to add a few movies to my netflix queue.
