Not actually that important
Damn, yesterday night I was channel surfing at 4 am tring to get sleepy and I catched they were broadcasting Aliens. I must have seen that masterpiece at least 15 times, and despite having more than one DVD edition (SE, OC, DC) and even the 720p satellite broadcast, I was still grabbed till the end of it from a crappy aerial tv broadcast in mono...
no shit today I was zombie'd at work.
I guess the same happens to me when I catch a glimpse of Ghostbusters, The Thing
Dumb & Dumber, Good Fellas or Young Frankenstein: I'm hooked until the end no matter how many times I've seen 'em or that I have the very same movie sitting in my DVDs cabinet.
I don't know why is that.
Yes, they're all awesome piece of work in my book, but it's not like I don't feel the same for many many others.
What are the films you could (and have) see
literally countless times without gettin bored?
Those aren't necessarily your top movies of all times, "just" movies you love that you keep watching over and over no matter what.
For example, I fucking love Full Metal Jacket, Godfather, 2001 and others and I watched them a good numbers of times (anywhere between 5 or 10 times) but it's not the same feeling as those mentioned above, where really I'll be hooked on the sofa watching them, when it was not in my plans in the slightest (ie broadcast tv) and no matter whatever I was doing before that.
Kinda special ones
