On another forum somewhere, the following post was made:

"My dumbass ex wanted to walk out of Ali, so I pretended not to hear him. LOL :D"
No, she hated it, too, but she would always ignore me when I talked to her. I hate her.

I think the closest I ever came to walking out of a movie was watching Eragon. What a piece of shit that was. I enjoyed the book also but the movie was beyond garbage. The only thing that stopped me was that I was with 3 buddies. As soon as the film ended one of them turned to me and said where do I go to get the past 2 hours of my life back :lol

I wouldn't even go to the cinema to see something as pretentious as Sin City. But Kiss Kiss Bang Bang? You mad, I wish I saw that at the Cinema :(

Pretentious? How is Sin City pretentious at all?

This movie was just horrible. My friends and I made it maybe... 40 minutes in (tops) before we decided to walk out and demand a refund.

I walked out on the dark knight...................
I made the horrible mistake of going on opening night, with my best friend and his stupid bitch of a fiancee. Was my own silly fault that I subjected myself to that nonsense, knowing ahead of time that she has a low tolerance for "nerd" movies, and would almost certainly make us miserable the entire evening.

She complained on the drive over to the theater, complained while we purchased tickets, complained at the concession stand, and then (you guessed it) complained incessantly while we stood in line. By the time we finally got to our seats, I wanted to deliver a stunning vagina punch in the worst way.

At the dinner party scene, my friend leaned over and whispered that he was going to take her home, then would return to pick me up. That's exactly what happened, and I haven't bothered to hang out with her since. What a terrible life he has in store.

Not only did I walk out of it, I walked out in VENICE gala screening.

The only insanity are people who thinks this shitty psychobabble is somehow deep and meaningful.

... wow.

I'm not going to try to convince you the movie was good. You're obviously a lesser species of man.

I'm kidding. To each his own.

Never done it but the people who walked out of Battle Of Seattle had some hilarious things to say about it.

I'm from Seattle and even I thought this film was ridiculous. Not really in keeping with the spirit of the movement and the struggle of that riot, which was awesome to be a witness of. (not going to pretend I was some sergeant of the revolution.)

Walking out on Sin City is like getting a hummer from a super hot chick you've always wanted to get one from, then right before the big finale, you decide you just want to snuggle instead.

People have walked out on the following movies:

Sin City
Donnie Darko
Lord of the Rings
Citizen Kane
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang

Wow, GAF. Wow.

wow, I'm actually pretty embarrassed to say this but I walked out on the first Lord of the Rings. I was with my sister and my cousin (the worst people to see a movie with, especially Lord of the Rings) and they were laughing and complaining and so we just left. I still think the first 40 minutes of that movie is boring as shit though.

I suggest this thread become submittable evidence for humiliating tagging.

Fuck this movie. Fucking horrible and it wasn't even funny to me. Ugh. I only lasted thirty minutes into this shit. None of the people at the theater laughed and it was a snore fest. Glad people walked out on it when I did.
Is that Lou Dobbs?

Sin City, I didn't like it, but it's not bad enough to walk out from it, in my opinion.
Donnie Darko is one of the worst piece of pseudo-intellectual shit I've ever seen. Not only would I like to walk out from it, I would like to destroy a copy of it.
Lord Of The Rings, I found it shitty. I guess I don't like the story. I'm a Peter Jackson fan, for his first movies.
Citizen Kane, I've never seen it.
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, never seen it either.

"Look at me, I'm all in Black and White trying to be like the cool kids"

Whoa. I didn't think there was actually people alive who associated black and white with old and classic movies and didn't think it could help with atmosphere and style or was just a cheap alternative.

Please never watch Down by Law, Pi, Clerks, Night of the Living Dead, Ed Wood, or Paper Moon. They all tried to be like the "cool kids."

I nearly walked out on 'The Core' after about 20 minutes it was so bad. But the pidgeons-go-mad-and-cause-traffic-explosions scene was so hilariously terrible I just had to stay and watch it all.

It devloved into a case of picking which order the main characters would die, and who would sacrifice their life to save the love interest. I think they remade it a few years later only with ice in new york city.

I've walked out lots of movies when I used to cut classes in high school. I would go to the the theater just to get some sleep, and whenever I felt refreshed enough, I would walk out. first one was with some Jurassic Park movie, though.

Sin City was a pile of shit. It was hyped so much that I initially thought I had rented a joke copy when I watched it on DVD.

I have never walked out on a movie.
I pay my $10, i'm not gonna waste it.
I did come close in the Doom movie though.
Hoooooooooly shit that was bad.

Aliens Versus Predator 2

Didn't see the first one, assumed it was shit, and I have no idea why I bothered going to see the sequel. Seeing as I didn't pay for it, I walked out half way through content that staying would have just been a profoundly stupid waste of time.

Only one: The Wackness.

It was an awful date movie, and I just can't shake the idea that Josh from Drake and Josh was pretending to be a ghetto drug dealer.

Watching this movie was one of the most surreal experiences of my life. Prior to that experience, I had never seen a movie elicit such a strong negative response from the audience. One guy just started screaming at the screen and had to be escourted out by security. People were furious at that movie and they were not in the least repose about making their opinions known. Quite the lesson on the power of cinema but for all the wrong reasons.

Clerks is fucking awesome >_.

That's weird, the family was just talking about this today.

Anyway, I've never walked out of a movie, and most of the family hadn't, except for my Dad who said he walked out of this after 30 minutes:

School_Daze.jpg

According to him, it was "one of the worst movies I ever watched". He said that half of people who had been in the theater had left by the time he and his friends got up.

Borat
King Kong (2005)
Return of The King (MOST. BORING. MOVIE i've EVER been to and it's a fucking shame, because first, I loved the book and second, to me "Fellowship" is the #1 most amazing cinematic achievement of this century.)

Independence Day (2nd viewing)

a few of us had already seen it a couple of weeks before, but since the rest of my friends hadn't, we went in, again

bored shitless, I walked out after about 30 minutes. went to the arcade across the street instead

I haven't walked out on a movie, but my Dad wanted get up and leave me there when he and Mum took me to see Masters of the Universe.

Mum stopped him though.:lol

I hadn't seen my girlfriend for a while. We went to see Speed. We were making out during the movie and got so horny that we had to leave and go home to fuck. She gave me a blow job in the back of the cab going home... but its a good movie apparently.

The Magic Roundabout.
What a way to ruin an old classic. I think I left about the point when Zeebeedee started throwing plasma balls at his evil twin or some shit. :lol

That's what the back row of the theater is for.

Never walked out of a movie, even some horrible ones I've seen at festivals.

However, I have on very rare occasions stopped watching a Netflix rental. Those would be The Island of Dr. Moreau (1996), Day of the Dead (the original) and Toward the Terra.

Never walked out on a movie.
1) I usually pick good movies
2) I paid for it so I don't want to cut it short

The only time I ever wanted to walk out of a movie the person I saw it with refused to do so to teach me a lesson. (I had picked the movie.)

movies are something that i often do not do alone. the thought of leaving just never came over me because that would be mean i'd have to convince a few people to join me. bah.

Ok so let's say you go to Amsterdam to fuck a whore, you choose one that looks good, but later you find out she has really bad breath, her pussy smells like shit, and she can't fuck at all.

Do you still continue with it, because you paid for it and don't want to cut it short?

Speed Racer was the first movie I walked out on in years.

Incidentally I walked out on Fellowship of the Ring, but not on purpose... I got violently sick and vomited on the back of some guys neck, and then fucking booked it in fear as he jumped up :lol

That's really disgusting. Did he threaten to beat you up or what did he say?

Miami Vice
Big Momma's House
Dude Where's my Car ~ Didn't even see the opening credits. I just told me friends, are we seriously going to watch a movie called Dude Where's my Car?

I got refunds on Momm and Dude because we told the guy at the ticket stall that our friend was sick and we had to leave.
