Jokes aside, these cancellations with the round table send a very clear message. MS is not prepared to answer questions that they don't control. Not being able to give clear answer to important question is partly why their PR is so fucked right now.

Well it's pretty understandable. Just like publishers, the press doesn't want to sour ties with what they expect to be the dominant platform holder.

Remember, Sony is playing catch-up, and have mattered very little this last generation.

I don't really buy the scheduling excuse.

If there is a scheduling conflict, re-schedule, don't cancel. Particularly with the roundtable, it's an easy way to give multiple people access in a limited amount of time.

And how bad do you have to be at scheduling to mess up a roundtable + multiple (?) one-on-one interviews?

Are they really just trying to limit the amount of information out there by different people, or are they seeing the positive reaction from a majority of their fanbase and really feel they really don't have to answer any more questions to promote their system?
